I buy a car at least every 3 years and I always go to Jim Coleman Toyota. I used to buy from them only because of their proximty to my house. I was pleasantly surprised when I went in to purchase my new car that they had built a brand new facility which is first-class! The staff and managers were mostly new as well. I worked with Abba and was impressed with his knowledge of the Prius and hybrids in general. I had never driven a hybrid but Abba put me at ease by explaining everything thoroughly. Once I had picked out the Prius I wanted, I was given a discounted price without asking. Most dealers make you go back and forth for hours but Abba and his manager Arslan made the process easy. In addition to the discount, I was given another $730 off because I had accumulated points in service! How can you beat that? I had a great experience from start to finish. I will go back to Jim Coleman for reasons other than proximity. More

I went to Coleman for the first time two weeks ago. I met Claudia and she was of out most help in assisting select a purchase of a new vehicle. The range of models and colors was very limited (we bought a Highlander in March 2010) but Ramon and his colleagues were very good to work with. We went in with a lot of data (the Consumer Reports deal bought a Highlander in March 2010) but Ramon and his colleagues were very good to work with. We went in with a lot of data (the Consumer Reports dealer pricing) and so the negotiations were not difficult beyond a point. As with all dealerships you do get pitched various coatings and warranties but it was also in a low-key way. We are happy with our purchase, the price, the experience and working with Ramon and Jim Coleman Toyota. More
I knew I wanted to buy a Corolla but I had no idea where I should buy from to get the best deal. I requested quotes from multiple dealers online. Abba from Jim Coleman Toyota was the first to respond and I should buy from to get the best deal. I requested quotes from multiple dealers online. Abba from Jim Coleman Toyota was the first to respond and he immediately gave me an aggressive price. The other dealers responded much later and their prices were higher. I decided to go to Jim Coleman and buy from them. Abba was very knowledgeable and easy to deal with. One of the other dealers offered to beat Coleman's price by $100. To me, the excellent service Abba provided was worth more than the $100. The rest of the staff were great as well. More

Ramon is a decent guy and was knowledgeble for the most part. We felt that we got a good deal on the vehicle & my trade-in, but I have to complain about the entire sale taking SEVEN hours. It took over 2 part. We felt that we got a good deal on the vehicle & my trade-in, but I have to complain about the entire sale taking SEVEN hours. It took over 2 hours just for the car to be detailed even though it only had 10 miles on it and was never even test driven...doesn't quite add up. Ramon kept saying "10 more minutes, 10 more minutes...", but it was much longer than that. Ramon said the car included everything (except the rear entertainment system which we chose to exclude), but we found out after we had signed all the paperwork that did NOT include floor mats and we had to order/pay for them separately. Ramon also said that there were rear and front bumper sensors, but as we found out after getting the car home, there are no front sensors. When the floor mats came in, I called Ramon and asked him to have a service person ready to install them and told him exactly when I was coming. He said that was fine. However, he spent over 20 minutes trying to install them himself with his screw driver. He ended up scratching the plastic in the back on the floor where the seats slide back & forth b/c he was pulling up it up with his screw driver and the it kept slipping. After I asked him several times to take it to an experienced service person, he FINALLY took it into the service area but said that the senior tech wasn't available and no one knew how to install the mats since they, and the car, were so new. I'm fine with that excuse, but why didn't he know that earlier? I ended up spending over an hour at the dealership in the middle of my work day watching my new car get scrathed up. Someone finally explained to Ramon how to put the mats in, so he finished the job. Afterwards he said "that was much easier than I thought it was. The plastic didn't even need to be pulled up from the floor". Bottom line - I wanted an experienced tech to install my mats, not the sales person who sold me the car. Overall, I had a decent experience at Jim Coleman and will try the service dept. again (I have had bad experiences with my Solara in the past). My husband and I are looking to trade in his Honda CRV for a Camry and I'm not sure we'll chose to work with Ramon, but we'll see. I do like the location and convenience of the dealership so I hope this relationship works out. More
