Made an appointment with Kim. I took the day off work and drove down from Anderson SC. Knowing that this was the truck he was ready to purchase. Barry was friendly and informative, we went out and looked at the truck and noticed it had about 4000 miles on it but, this was the one dad wanted. So we started the paperwork, Michael was also friendly and helpful. Done, smooth purchase Dads happy guy. Reading the booklets and all the other features noticed a couple thing missing out of the console. No big deal we will call Barry and ask him to ship them, yep he would ask the sales manager who was driving the truck if he knew when the change holder was and the 7 to 4 pin trailer light adapter was and drop them in the mail. Well its a month later and still waiting (assuming they are not coming) also waiting on the 3200.00 sales tax to be paid to Michigan before the GA temp tag expires. That should not be an issue since the truck in in the shop in Michigan at a chevy dealer waiting on transmission warranty work to be completed. Very friendly and informative while your there, don't expect a response after you leave the parking lot. More
Great Accommodation for Next Day Service I had an issue with my wife’s car and was able to bring it in for service the next morning. John Anderson has two service techs inspect the vehicle and make sure that it was running in acirdamce with the manufacturers specifications. They do a good job of communicating the process with the customer, and never try to hard-sell you on services that aren’t necessary. I will be a repeat customer for sure. More
Not as expected...expectation buzz-killer Initial/drop-off visit--Service desk personnel was not welcoming--neither greeted/acknowledged my presence upon arrival or replied back when I spoke/n Initial/drop-off visit--Service desk personnel was not welcoming--neither greeted/acknowledged my presence upon arrival or replied back when I spoke/neither offered or inquired to help needed (nope, neither was assisting anyone else at time), when finally did respond to me, was kinda rude/'short'/S.A'. I expected/anticipated 'better'; however, visit fell waaaaay below other dealership service departments I've experience. Pick-up visit--cut & dry, nothing special at all; however, at least this time was on Saturday with only one person seemingly handling everything/doing it all, seemingly rather busy. My phone customer service & interaction with Lisa was GREAT...every time!! However, according to Tom Rickard, she didn't do what she told me she'd do--she hadn't ordered needed parts; yet, somehow vehicle was ready later same day--earlier than expected. More

Exceed expectations Cortez went above and beyond to keep me informed about the progress on my car( some was routine, but 1 thing we weren’t sure about). When technician found out what was causing the problem, Cortez arranged a Lyft for me to take care of things at home, and had car scheduled to pick me up to return and get car, all in time to get my kids at school. He was so concerned about fitting this repair into my schedule, I really appreciate all he did. He made me feel like a VIP!! More
Great Customer Service and a fair price At first I wasn't sure the salesperson really wanted my business. He did listen to what I needed and produced a truck that fit that description, but At first I wasn't sure the salesperson really wanted my business. He did listen to what I needed and produced a truck that fit that description, but when it came to discussing price, he seemed rather rigid, even when other dealerships were advertising exactly the same truck at a lower price. Inevitably, the salesperson beat the competition and I felt like I was being treated fairly. The salesperson did ultimately have my best interest at heart and we were able to make a deal. The experience at Jim Ellis GMC was pleasant and I would buy another vehicle from them. More

Late day service and still did not take long to do. I took my Buick Encore into the dealer to get the schedule maintenance done. I did not get there until after 1pm. No appointment was made and they wer I took my Buick Encore into the dealer to get the schedule maintenance done. I did not get there until after 1pm. No appointment was made and they were able to get me in with the service done before 4pm. And this is not the first time they were able to do that. One last thing, their wait area is great. I was able to sit and work on my computer and watch TV, along with being able to charge my phone during the wait. More
