Terrible Post-Purchase Service I am driving around with a paper license plate that expired in September, and it's their fault. Unless you want a headache and feel like risking getting pulled over all the time because of your expired license plate, I can't recommend this dealership. We bought a truck here over 80 DAYS ago. Since then, I've received countless emails about "GMC Rewards" and "Sale today" and other inbox-filling promos, but they never respond to the actual issues. We paid a little extra when we bought it to have them handle all of the titling/tag paperwork so we wouldn't have to mess with it. Guess what? I sent the required paperwork over 40 DAYS ago, I was told "I'll check into this as soon as I can" 15 DAYS ago... and the temporary tags EXPIRED over 35 DAYS ago. They haven't responded to *several* emails about this, and they pass the problem up to the next person then down to the other. To this day, they have still not fixed their mistake or offered a solution. I feel scammed. There are plenty of places to buy a GMC in Atlanta, I would stay away from this dealer. The low price IS NOT worth it. More

excellent price, faulty out of state tax software this dealer has the best prices on the gmc sierra 1500 slt 4x4. i am from alabama and the tax rate in alabama is 3.5% (2% for state tax and 1.5% for c this dealer has the best prices on the gmc sierra 1500 slt 4x4. i am from alabama and the tax rate in alabama is 3.5% (2% for state tax and 1.5% for city and county) and base on the software that this dealer used to calculate my tax it came out to be around 7 percent. i know that if i went ahead close the deal i would get reimbursed for the overage but i chose not to. if i had closed the deal, i would have to finance an extra $1400 which in turn cost more interest money on my financing thru gmc. this dealer could have handle the situation better and they would have made a sale and i would have a good deal. the finance guy could have contacted a dvm in alabama to get the correct tax rate and collect the correct amount of tax or called a gmc dealer in alabama and get the correct amount of tax that needs to be collected. hopefully they would listen to my comment and fix the tax being collected so future out of state buyers can have a better experience and ultimately sell more vehicles. the sales person was nice and attentive, but the finance guy needs improving on listening to customers concern and not rely on computer software too much.
