Turned my vehicle in for warranty service on the headlight recall as scheduled. All parties confirmed parts were on hand. After two hours it was determined the parts were not available, possible u headlight recall as scheduled. All parties confirmed parts were on hand. After two hours it was determined the parts were not available, possible used on another vehicle. At time of turn in the GM system was down so the advisor had to wait for verification as well as feedback from the parts dept. Huge waste of my time and personal schedule. Have to reschedule when notified of parts availability. No fault with the advisor. Always been satisfied with J Ellis and will continue service and future purchases there, but this glitch needs to be looked at. Thanks you. More
I always take all my vehicles to the dealership for service. This one hasn't been the best. They've tried to overcharge me on my oil changes last 3 times and I have to tell them the right price (the service. This one hasn't been the best. They've tried to overcharge me on my oil changes last 3 times and I have to tell them the right price (they charge me for Diesel / more expensive oil change and I don't own a Diesel truck). I took the truck in for a noise and they told me it was bad gas and charged me for fuel system clean-out. I drove away still hearing the noise and they told me to go through a full tank and it would likely fix itself. Well of course that didn't work so I paid $200+ for a fuel system clean-out for nothing. Not sure how many times I'll have to take the truck back to get this new issue resolved but not the best experience so far. Looking into other dealership options but will give Jim Ellis a couple more tries / benefit of the doubt just in case. Service people I have dealt with have been super friendly though and easy to work with. Big fan of how they'll text me updates also along the way. So as for the people, I do recommend everyone I've worked with (mainly Kori and Ed so far). More
