Could not assist with my particular issue. My 99 miata is experiencing issues passing IM codes becoming ready. Service department not able to assist because of modifications. There was also a place on the front bra where someone apparently scraped against something yellow. I guessing a balester or pole painted safety yellow. Didn't even drive it through the bay, parked it outside after it took them quite some time to find it. No one accompanied me out to look over the car. Very disappointed. More
Recall Work Called & made appt. Arrived on time. My CX-9 was taken immediately. Was seated in the waiting area. Tech Mgs. came out & reviewed reason I was there. Called & made appt. Arrived on time. My CX-9 was taken immediately. Was seated in the waiting area. Tech Mgs. came out & reviewed reason I was there. After a timely wait my Mazda was ready. I signed the paperwork & was on my way. Only regret, no one tried to sell me a new Mazda. More

Great experience overall. The only glitch that could use improvement is this: When I bought my CX-5, the sales guys said I receive the free first oil change at FIVE thousand miles. And the notification on the screen counted down to 5k miles and said “due for service”. But upon arriving at Jim Ellis Mazda, the Service Rep said that was incorrect, I should have it done at SEVEN thousand or 7,500 miles. He suggested I come back - but sorry, I’m busy and made arrangements. He was just thinking it would save me my free oil change for a few thousand more miles, trying to help me out. But - had I known this earlier, I may have considered it. You might want to look into this Disconnect between the sales and service areas re: first oil change. Is it 5k or 7k?
