I made an appointment for 3:00 and didn’t leave until 6:04...just for a standard oil change service. No one came to talk to me even know I told them I would stay and wait until it was finished. I've worked with a lot of dealerships in my lifetime, I also worked at one for nearly 7 years, so I know the politics that happen sometimes behind the scene. I spent 6 months looking for a car and a nearly new Explorer popped up at their dealership. The price was right on the money, the condition was exactly as described when I asked about car, and there were no hidden fees buying the car, only a small doc fee. I worked with Miles who was the most honest person I could have worked with, he told me everything about the car and when I went to drive to look at it from 7 hours away, it was exactly as described. The management department was extremely nice, I was able to talk briefly with Kevin, who was honest, kind, and polite. He answered all of my questions . The entire dealership experience, including working with Matt in the finance department, was a seamless transaction. I was able to wire money ahead of time and get out of the dealership within a couple of hours (they detailed car and put a full tank of gas in it) so I could drive vehicle back home the same day. They were also kind enough to help me get my one-way rental back to the drop off point several blocks away. I will be doing business with these guys again, you can't get this kind of experience back in Chicago where I live, which is why I took the time to drive down and buy from Joe Machens Capital City Ford in the first place. I'm a first time buyer from them, and will be a long time re-purchaser going forward. Thank you again for the great experience. More
