I dealt with Shawn Flanary who was super and gave us really straight forward assistance allowing us time to consider our purchase. He was especially helpful in negotiation of the sale price which we felt was very fair and Joe Machens was honest in giving us a fair value with our trade. After our offer was accepted, Terry Bradshaw assisted us with the financing and arranged an exceptional rate for our purchase. After everything was finished Shawn even helped us program our cell phone into the blue tooth on the car. I totally recommend Joe Machens dealership! I will definitely come back for our next purchase. I forgot to mention the great amenities in the waiting area. More

The service that I got at Joe Machens is the best I have experienced while buying a car ever. They made the process so easy and turned around a very stressful experience for me. Would recommend Ron Murphy to anyone looking to buy. There was also others I dealt with thru the process that I do not remember their names. Tom Stegeman was very helpful in the process as well. The finance person and one other gentleman both very helpful also. Would recommend anyone looking for new or used to try here first. More

They sell inferior used cars We looked and drove a 2009 Honda CRV and it seemed fine and purchased it 5/19/15. When I picked up the car on 5/21/15 there was a chip on the win We looked and drove a 2009 Honda CRV and it seemed fine and purchased it 5/19/15. When I picked up the car on 5/21/15 there was a chip on the windshield in the drivers direct line of site which was not there when we drove it on 5/19. There was no sales personnel available when I brought it back so I asked for a sales manager. I was referred to Rick in the used car sales office. When I explained the situation all I got was excuses and an inference that I was lying about the situation. It was absurd as I hadn't driven it 10 miles after taking possession of the car when I returned it and contacted them. After arguing with him until I figured it was no use, I walked away and went across the street and explained the situation to a manager in the new car sales office. I don't even know his name as he didn't introduce himself nor give me a card. He walked across the street to mediate the situation and the car was not there. It had apparently been taken to have the windshield damage checked. He came back and said the windshield had been repaired previously and couldn't be repaired again and they would replace it. It was replaced on 5/22 satisfactorily. On 5/27 I had an doctors appointment in St. Louis and went out to start the car and the battery was dead. I jumped it myself because I had to get to the appointment and couldn't wait for them or anybody to come and jump it. I was so upset that because of their attitude regarding the windshield there was no way I was going to go through it again to get the battery and the charging system checked out. I decided to return the car. I stopped payment on the check and went to the manager and after him trying to appease me and my insistence the car be returned he and his less than friendly Notary agreed on my request. After buying cars for over 50 years, I have never been so poorly treated. The dealership personnel are the least customer oriented and most argumentative than any I have ever dealt with! I also question their business practices with regard to what they do to cars they bring in from out-of-town to patch them up and detail them to sell to unsuspecting customers. More
