I worked directly with Michelin to make sure I had everything needed for my tire warranty claim and was good to go. These guys at Machens tried telling me I needed more and delayed my claim, after confirming with Michelin a second time, now the guys at Machens said I had everything needed (same stuff as before a day later). Apparently only one person can do these warranty claims as was not able to do it the next day delaying me another day with out my vehicle. Service was not a priority and I had to remain persistent to make sure my warranty claim was processed. The tire price was almost $20 higher per tire than other local dealers, they did price match though. They oil change sticker was also not replaced nor was the oil life setting reset. More
Friendly service but I feel I was overcharged I had 4 tires put on my Escape. I had a price quote from Jim Lewis which Ford matched. The quote was for 4 tires, mounted balanced and OUT THE DOOR $667. Out the door I took to mean sales tax included. My price when I picked my car up was $810. An alignment was needed, which I understand, however it would have been nice to know that this might have been included in my final price. Alignment was 89.95. I was charged $45 in tax. I was told tax was not included in my estimate quote. I questioned this. When I left I emailed Jim Lewis again and was told that yes, tax was included in his estimate, and that an alignment would have been $69.95. Bottom line, if I had known I was going to be charged $65+ more at Ford I would have just gone with Jim Lewis. I wanted to give Ford my business since I go there for oil changed, etc.. I have no complaints with the staff, they were all very friendly. Angie was very curteous and pleasant to talk to. I appreciate that they price match. More

They made it all right After another dealership continued to tell me nothing was wrong with my car Joe Machens was able to find the problem with a sensor in the fuel system. After another dealership continued to tell me nothing was wrong with my car Joe Machens was able to find the problem with a sensor in the fuel system. Part took awhile to come in, which is not their fault. We made an appointment to take the car in (we live 30 minutes away). However, due to some miscommunication on their part and staff shortages they were not able to fix the car in the day of our appointment. We did not know this until we called around 2:30 to check on progress (dropped the car off at 7:30 am). They promised they would get it done the next day, which presented a bit of a transportation hardship for us to be without our vehicle for another day. They did fix it the next day and also threw in a oil change/tire rotation and cleaned our car for us before delivering it to our home. So while the situation wasn’t ideal they did make it right and were able to fix our car. Thanks! More
