2017 Lincoln Continental:The repair department was 2017 Lincoln Continental: The repair department was unsuccessful in replacing the cabin air filter which is behind the glove box. In attempting to 2017 Lincoln Continental: The repair department was unsuccessful in replacing the cabin air filter which is behind the glove box. In attempting to access it, they broke the stops on the glove box, thus allowing it to swing completely down and dump its contents. My irritation is not with the breakage but that I was not informed of the situation when I picked up the car. It wasn't until I got home and happened to open the glove box that I discovered the damage. I'm disappointed that Angie did not inform me when I picked up the car. We exchanged waves as I was leaving but she did not call me over to tell me. When I contacted her, she explained the situation. She was prompt to ask for pictures of the damaged areas and has ordered new parts. Again, my irritation is not that the glove box was inadvertently damaged, but that neither the technician(s) nor service advisor said anything to me More
