Poor service experience I have taken my car in for the exact same issue 4 times now. The first time I brought it in, I didn’t have any issues with customer service, everyone I have taken my car in for the exact same issue 4 times now. The first time I brought it in, I didn’t have any issues with customer service, everyone took great care of me and my vehicle. I drove my car off the lot with less that 15 miles on it...brand new and it started having transmission issues 6 months in. This time was my 4th time taking my car in for the same issues. It was in the shop for almost 4 weeks (3 weeks and 5 days)! The person in charge of helping me never called me to give me updates. I called and texted his personal contact daily and he got back to me a total of 2 times over the course of 26 days... I finally got fed up and complained to management. The manger took over this past Monday and my car was put into “diagnostics” the two days later, and then he called to say they would have my car fully detailed and ready for pickup the next day. I showed up to the dealership and they did not fix the issue with my transmission. They also did not “fully detail” my car and my front and rear license plates were completely bent when my car was returned to me. During this entire process I was not given a loaner car or a rental. I was sharing a car with my husband or borrowing a family members vehicle. When management took over my case, he provided me with a loan car for a grand tots of 3 days... Needless to say, I will be getting rid of my Ford and going with a totally different vehicle before my transmission issues get worse. My car was purchased brand new and had issues at 6 months...I have had it for 4 years and have reported the same issue every time I have taken it in to get work done. I have never had such poor customer service until this visit. I sincerely hope they don’t treat all of their customers this poorly. I was very understanding that they had a heavy influx of vehicles to work on, but an update every now and then would’ve been helpful. Completely ignoring phone calls and texts is highly unprofessional. More
Service Department is lacking Brought wife’s expedition in for warranty front end noise. Couldn’t find problem but came up with $1,300 of false repairs. Took truck to our mechanic and they said all repair claims were not needed and charged me nothing. What a scam. Took my new truck in about a year ago for warranty check bad engine vibration at idle. After keeping vehicle for almost 3 weeks they told me the vibration was common to the small 2.7 L engine. My 2015 didn’t have same issue so I took to AutoNation dealership and they checked into it and after a day they determined it was internal engine problem. Installed new engine under warranty. I have zero confidence in Joe Meyer’s Service department. More
