I always enjoy my visits to Hinderer. I’m usually greeted right away, and the service department staff are always kind and helpful. Bryan N. was my service advisor this time. I’ve not met him before, and he right away, and the service department staff are always kind and helpful. Bryan N. was my service advisor this time. I’ve not met him before, and he was not familiar. We did not communicate well. I had an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation, which I stated when he offered help. When my van was finished about 1.5 hours later, only the oil change had been completed. I reminded Bryan that I’d asked for a tire rotation when I arrived. Instead of apologizing for the error and sending my van back right away, Bryan told me that I did not, in fact, ask for a tire rotation and that it wasn’t on the order. I told him that I did indeed ask for one. Again, instead of apologizing and sending my van back, he asked me if I would like a tire rotation. I said yes. He then said ok and put the order in. I have not experienced this before in my nearly 12 years of coming to Hinderer. I was disappointed with the entire exchange. In addition, Bryan was training a young man on his first day, and I’m sure this is not the level of customer service that Mr. Hinderer himself expects his new employees to witness. While waiting for my van, I decided to look at some used SUVs as we are currently considering moving on from our van. I spoke with Greg G., and he was very kind and helpful. He showed me the 2018 Explorer on the lot. I made it clear we are only “testing the waters” but don’t really need a new vehicle right now. I felt that Greg was really hoping I’d be so impressed with the SUV that I might buy it. In addition, he took my drivers license (I fully accept that I willingly gave it to him) but I made it clear that I was not interested in driving the SUV; I only wanted to get general info and take a look at it.In addition, I was asked to sit and wait for Ron Strong to come over and say hi and ask about my experience. So I did out of kindness to Greg, but I don’t feel that that was a necessary interaction. Overall, my experience this time around wasn’t 5-star, like I’m used to. I’m sure my next visit will be much better. More

My sales rep was amazing with keeping in contact with me while I tried to adjust my schedule to find the time to get in and purchase a vehicle. Great service from everyone involved. We enjoyed our time with Shawn who had a great knowledge of the product. We do wish the time spent there could have been reduced from 4 hours to 2.
