My husband brought the car in for oil change and tire rotation. He had to wait quite a while but was not at all upset about it. Talked about your waiting area still being very nice. rotation. Service was phenomenal and timely, but there was no enforcement of any kind of social distancing or mask policy in the waiting area. Normally I give 5 stars cuz you all do an excellent job. The problem I have is I don’t like leaving a service center only to see error lights on my dash. It feels like I have to do something I don’t normall The problem I have is I don’t like leaving a service center only to see error lights on my dash. It feels like I have to do something I don’t normally do and do not have any mechanical knowledge. I know it sounds trivial but I didn’t know if low pressure was safe or not. So then my husband wants me to drive there to get air in my tires. I don’t feel like walking in and asking. Not that the guy was rude but he wasn’t understanding or happy to help. Line of cars and I didn’t want to wait 30 min for air. So now I’m going to have to tell my husband this dumb story about air in my tires. Please, please. Make sure there are no error lights in my car when I leave. That’s why I come down there so I don’t have to see error lights. This isn’t the first time. Last time I had to program something to get the light to go away, with guy on phone. Thank you. Not sure who it was that I worked with so I’m selecting first name. More
Very Positive, never pressured into service I don't need I have been using John Hinderer's service department for more than 17 years. It is one of the few automotive service departments I that I have confid I have been using John Hinderer's service department for more than 17 years. It is one of the few automotive service departments I that I have confidence that I am not be sold services or repairs I do not need. Recently, I accidentally forgot to turn off the accessory function and drained the battery. I could not jump start the car and called AAA for assistance. They were able to start it and informed me that battery was "bad" and needed to be replaced. I took the car to the Hinderer service department to have the battery checked and asked them to replace it if needed. After checking the car and battery, they informed me that the there was nothing wrong with the car or the battery and a new battery was not necessary. I was not charged anything for the service and have had no issues with the battery. I can not help but think many other repair facilities would have taken the opportunity to sell me a $189 battery I did not need. More
RESET THE TIRE SENSOR WHEN I ASK YOU TO!!!!!!!!! I AM WRITING THIS REVIEW FOR MY WIFE BECAUSE SHE FEELS IT IS NOT IMPORTANT ENOUGH TO MAKE A FUSS OVER. I FEEL THAT AFTER WE: A- SPEND +$300 FOR SERVIC I AM WRITING THIS REVIEW FOR MY WIFE BECAUSE SHE FEELS IT IS NOT IMPORTANT ENOUGH TO MAKE A FUSS OVER. I FEEL THAT AFTER WE: A- SPEND +$300 FOR SERVICE AND B- ASK THE TECH TO "MAKE SURE AND RESET THE TIRE SENSORS" BECAUSE YOU NEVER DO AND THEN BEFORE SHE GETS HOME THERE IS A WARNING LIGHT ON THE DASH AND SHE HAS TO GET OUT THE MANUAL AND SPEND 30 MINUTES FIGURING HOW TO DO THE JOB THAT SHE ASKED AND PAID YOU TO DO!! I, MYSELF MIGHT LET THIS SLIDE IF IT WERE NOT AT LEAST THE THIRD OR FOURTH TIME OUT OF THE LAST FIVE VISITS TO YOUR DEALERSHIP'\. I CAN ONLY SURMISE THAT A- YOU DON'T CARE B- YOU HAVE THE ATTENTION SPAN OF A GNAT OR C- NO ONE EVER CALLS YOU ON THIS LACK OF SERVICE. More
