Not enough attention to details. I brought my car into Hinderer in July with the issue of my AC blowing hot air. I was charged $180 for this service. Less than 2 months later, same sc I brought my car into Hinderer in July with the issue of my AC blowing hot air. I was charged $180 for this service. Less than 2 months later, same scenario. I took my car in on Monday, 9/16 so they would have proof that it was blowing hot air. No one wanted to take the time to walk outside to check my car. I made an appointment for Friday, 9/20. After 3 hours in the waiting room, the clerk presented me with paperwork and announced “there is nothing wrong with your AC”. I just shook my head and repeated to him, I indeed had a problem and they were incorrect. The clerk goes back out and talks to 2 other people. Less than 15 minutes later, he comes back in and says they had shown a flashlight into the engine and determined that the compressor had rust and corrosion on it and that was what was causing the problem. And then presented an estimate for $1400 for the repair. Why? Why did it take 3 trips, my explaining the situation to numerous people and spend so much time for a “diagnosis “ that took less than 15 minutes and would cost that much? More
