Disappointed I brought my car in for an AC issue that was covered by my warranty. I turned the car in on a Friday, I was promptly called the next day and told that I brought my car in for an AC issue that was covered by my warranty. I turned the car in on a Friday, I was promptly called the next day and told that my car would be fixed on Tuesday. Great, I was borrowing my boyfriend’s car and he didn’t have to return to work until that next Friday, plenty of time to get the car fixed! Tuesday came and I received a call, the parts were delayed and wouldn’t be in until the next day then the car should be fixed. That’s fine, I get that, happens all the time in shipping. Wednesday came and 4pm rolled around and I was still waiting for a phone call, I finally called and was told that the parts had just arrived and the tech was working to get my car fixed that night. I would be able to pick it up Thursday afternoon at the latest. Okay running a little close to when the car is needed back but that’s fine as long as I get it back. Thursday afternoon I received a call, there was something else wrong with my car and it wouldn’t be read until Friday. I finally had it and said that I needed a rental car because the car I had been borrowing needed to be back. I went and picked up the rental with the promise my car would be ready on Friday. Friday I received a call, there was something else wrong with my car and it wouldn’t be ready until Saturday. At this point I didn’t care, I wanted my car back, fixed, and done with this entire ridiculous process. Saturday I received a call late that my car was finished and I could pick it up on Sunday. At this point I was happy the car was done, just not particularly happy with the constant up and downs I had experienced with the constant promises of everything getting fixed quickly but having the exact opposite occur. Sunday I showed up turned in my rental anticipating a quick in and out. My car at first couldn’t be located, once it was located it was completely dead. It was instantly assumed that my battery was old and not holding a charge anymore and would need to be replaced. I had JUST bought a new battery not even a month before, there was no way it was the battery. Someone had left a light, door, or something on in my car to run the battery so dead that you could hardly jump it. I was told that they would recharge the battery if they could, then check the entire system to make sure it was running perfectly, it would be 20 minutes tops. Almost two hours later, two, hours, later, I finally had my car back after 9 days. The entire experience was ridiculous from start to end. I understand shipping problems, I understand issues that occur when you fix one part and another breaks or doesn’t function correctly, just don’t keep telling me that my car will be fixed the next day. This sets the expectation that the car has been diagnosed and fixed quickly. I would have much rather heard, “we are working our way through the problem but we may encounter something else, we will give you a call tomorrow with an update.” The one problem that really chapped me was running my car battery so dead that it took almost two hours to recharge a month old battery. On top of that it was Mother’s Day and like most people I had plans that didn’t include sitting at a car dealership for two hours. I appreciate the work done, my AC works great but the hassle and run around getting it fixed was very disappointing. I wasn’t charged for any of the issues caused but the experience makes me think twice about coming back to have my car serviced or to buy a car from John Hinderer Honda. More

We came near closing time on a Saturday, but our salesperson was still very patient with us and took his time explaining the features of the two vehicles we were debating between. He also stayed over almost two hours to help us complete our purchase which was outstanding because we are a family constantly on the go with a crazy schedule. We appreciate everything John Hinderer has done for us and we look forward to purchasing from them in the future! We also regularly come to Hinderer for service and the service department is amazing. They are continuously polite and go out of their way to make sure we get the service we need, and they are not pushy if we decline a service to perform the next time. They also serviced and detailed a civic on this trip and we’re confident to pass it along to a family member in its condition now. The interior detail was phenomenal! More
