John Hinderer Honda

I don't want to write a novel here, but I think it's important to explain my experience in detail to relay to you to what great lengths this dealership will go to make a customer HAPPY! I know it is not a HONDA, but I was so discouraged with the poor sales representation at the Buick dealer that I was working with in Columbus that I voiced my concerns during lunch in Newark. The restaurant owner recommended to me Melissa Keith, who works as a sales rep at John Hinderer Heath. She stated "She'll find you whatever you need!" I was hesitant calling a Honda dealer, when trying to find a Buick, but I spoke with Melissa any way. From the very first conversation, I liked her personality and... she hit the ground running. I told her that I wanted this car in a white diamond exterior coat, with light colored interior, less than 7,000 miles, with a sunroof, and fully loaded. I told her the price I was willing to pay, which I knew was competitive. During the next several days, she and her team searched, searched, and searched - this car typically was made with the white diamond exterior with a butterscotch interior (YUCK!) She actually located the car two states away. She brought the car in, had it detailed (more thoroughly than before); had the car checked thoroughly by maintenance, and filled the tank. She called me, and I arrive at John Hindered to find a car with the EXACT specifications for which I requested. The car was prestine! The staff was welcoming - offering coffee to my husband, and a kid's center for my young daughter. The financial guy was honest and helpful. (I work in the financial/accounting world and know a dishonest "sales pitch" when I here one.) He recommended keeping with our local bank to help support the community, and he worked with that bank to get the low interest rate to which I was entitled. Best of all, they met the price I had specified to Melissa. I can't say enough AWESOME things about my experience. My husband will be buying his next car through Melissa for sure. YOU SHOULD GIVE HER A TRY! I would like to stop in and see Mr. Hinderer and thank him for his dedicated staff and professionalism. More

I received an ad in the mail promising some great trade-in prices and 0% interest on a new Honda. I was very spectacle about the deal so I called the dealership. I called and spoke with "ROB" & I exp trade-in prices and 0% interest on a new Honda. I was very spectacle about the deal so I called the dealership. I called and spoke with "ROB" & I explained EXACLY what I wanted and I didn't want to come in unless I qualified for the 0% interest on a new Honda. I never heard back so I called back, the young lady that answered said he was busy and he would call back, guess what happened? So I called back AGAIN! He said he ran my credit and it looks great come in! I was really excited about getting a new Honda and esp the 0% interest. Went into Hinderer Honda that day hoping to pick up where I left off. Nope I was tossed from one sales man to another, best part is I had to re-explain what I wanted EVERY TIME!!!! ZERO customer service. ZERO! So I started to get a little frustrated, but I chalked it up. Finally get all the silly stuff out of the way we started to look at numbers, they didn't make much sense. I had did the math on exactly what I wanted and how much it should cost me, even giving a little extra incase I didn't get the exact price for my current Honda. Nothing was making sense, I asked to look at the numbers and they tried to run me in circles again. I asked to see the numbers again, there it was! 2.9% interest, I asked why I was being charged interest? He said it was standard on the new Accords, but I explained I called asking EXACLY that. "Rob" said yes 0% interest on the NEW 2013 Accords on the phone earlier that day? This is exactly why I will NEVER buy from them, I have driven far distances to avoid Hinderer when I bought both my Accord and my CBR1000RR, and when I get my Ruckus and new Hybrid i will AVOID HINDERER and tell all my friends to do the same, they don't care about anything but to sell you a car. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME! More

There are few dealerships that you would want to deal with regularly because of their awesome service. John Hinderer Honda is one of those few. Nathan Haughton was my sales representative. Nathan kept me informed through out the process and personally went beyond expectations in making sure we had a very pleasant and smooth experience through out the purchase. Everyone were very friendly and there was never a sales push to any item we did not want. I would strongly recommend anyone in and around columbus or ohio to choose/consider John Hinderer Honda for their purchase of a vehicle.
