As always I took my car to Thornton Chevrolet for its 5000-mile oil change. I always go there after hours and leave the car. Sometimes it takes a few days because the service department is snowed under, 5000-mile oil change. I always go there after hours and leave the car. Sometimes it takes a few days because the service department is snowed under, but this time I was notified at 8:30 a.m. the morning after leaving the car that it was ready, that in addition to my oil change. a recall issue had also been fixed. With a coupon (which Thornton often sends me for a small discount) and MyChevrolet points, the total bill was less than $50. And everyone I've ever dealt with at Thornton (I've bought two cars there, including my current Equinox) has been gracious and polite. I am always treated as though my business is valued. More

I came from out of state, South Carolina to buy my new vehicle. The sales staff, Bradley and Derek were absolutely GREAT! It was a pleasure working with them. Why the 3 star rating. The Title and Tag department has a rule that a customer can NOT leave the dealership with the title to the vehicle they just purchased and FULLY paid for. They insisted on sending the paperwork to my local SC DMV office, thankfully after much discussion they overnighted the paperwork. The folks at the DMV office were completely confused by this. Thankfully, after going over the paperwork that was sent and the paperwork I brought, the DMV folks were able to transfer my handicap tag and Title the vehicle for me. It is a very simple process, done it 5 other times, all the dealership has to do is put all the paperwork together, give it to the new car owner, get a waiver of responsibility signed by the new owner and send them on their way. Just like a PRIVATE sale between to individuals. No Hassle. More
