Excellent services and personal rapport This is my annual rating for Koon Honda in Manassas and for Bob Miner, the Service Advisor in particular. Koon Honda Manassas has been and will be This is my annual rating for Koon Honda in Manassas and for Bob Miner, the Service Advisor in particular. Koon Honda Manassas has been and will be my preferred dealership as long as I am living here in the areas and their continuing of good services despite other dealerships are vying to service our 4 Hondas and one Toyota. The reason is simply because we found the Services Department is very professional, prompt, courteous and dependable and reasonable in price. And I have always had Mr. Miner attending to our cars. I found him to be very knowledgeable, honest and friendly. I would consult him of items I need and he will advise of what need to be done now and what can wait or what I could do myself to save some money. He will also check for any recalls outstanding on our cars and advise us accordingly. I have found myself coming back to Koon Honda Manassas and Bob Miner in particular even though I have found some coupons of better price for services elsewhere (timing belt change, alignment, etc) because I trust that for the difference Bob will take care of our cars for us. When I take the car(s) to Bob for annual inspection, I usually couple it with an oil change and Bob will tell me if other services may be needed at this time. I would look around for a coupon online and Bob/Koon Hondas will try to match the price for us. When they can not (for example, I found a couple for alignment for $59 and they could not match it but gave me a $20 discount instead of the regular $109.95. I ended up paying 89.95 instead. Last year I had Bob changed the timing belt for my honda civic 2001 even though I know I could have saved about $100 if I had another dealership did it. The reason being that the car was being used by our college kid out of state and I\we could not afford to take a chance with a new service! This is strictly dues given to the personal rapport that Bob Miner has built with us over the years. One would ask that I could have asked Bob to match to price to the other dealership and in fact I did. Bob did what he could do at that time with his management and I/we paid what we did to have the peace of mind. I know I had paid less for some services but I also know that Koon Honda Manassas had given me free inspections with this service and all my cars annually! While I want to have a good price, I know that Koon Manassas needs to make a margin to be in business and that I still have some dependable place to go to for my cars! Now one thing for this Koon Honda Dealership Management, I have yet to buy/ trade in car from you and I may want to do so if you give me good reasons for it! I have 4 Hondas that I may sell/ trade in!! all of which are maintained by your Service Department! More
3 hours for Oil, filter and tire rotation I've been bringing my Civic Hybrid to this dealership for a few years and the last two times I've been there I've received less than stellar service. I've been bringing my Civic Hybrid to this dealership for a few years and the last two times I've been there I've received less than stellar service. First I went to them for a recall service and they severely under estimated the time it would take to complete the replacement by more than 90 minutes. The last time I was there, I had a scheduled appointment for which I arrived 15 minutes early; it was for a B1, 2 service. After the vehicle was processed through the reception it was forgotten. After waiting for an hour fifteen minutes, I went to the service reps to inquire how much longer it would be. I was informed that my vehicle has not even go into the technicians because it had been overlooked. Then they said it was going into the bay momentarily. SO, 45 minutes later the vehicle was done with an oil & filter change and tire rotation. Nearly 3 hours for a scheduled service that should take 45 minutes to an hour. More
