Service improvements needed I bought a new Odyssey from Joyce Koons and made my first service appointment on-line for an oil change. I had received a recall in the mail about a I bought a new Odyssey from Joyce Koons and made my first service appointment on-line for an oil change. I had received a recall in the mail about a component that needed fixing and indicated that on the appointment ticket. This was not addressed during the service appointment because apparently the internet appointment system didn't sync up with the in-house system. I now have to spend another hour or so to return to get this fixed. Not good. In addition, a month or so before the visit, I was stopped by a Va State Trooper because my inspection sticker was on incorrectly. He could see that the van was new and that the error was not my fault. He stopped me because the way the sticker was displayed is indicative of a fake inspection. Considering it was the first time I've been stopped by the police in 30 years (knock on wood), it was a little unnerving, especially since I have two autistic sons in the vehicle with me.j Overall though, I've enjoyed the rest of the buying and service teams and have no problem returning in future. Will keep my fingers crossed about the future! More

Joyce Koons Honda Service Dept I had an unknown problem with my car when I took it to Joyce Koon Honda's service department. As always I had Bob Miner check on it. Bob contacted me I had an unknown problem with my car when I took it to Joyce Koon Honda's service department. As always I had Bob Miner check on it. Bob contacted me a few hours after I took in the vehicle telling me the problem, how it would be fixed and the cost. To my surprise the items to be repaired were under an extended warranty, to which I did not know, until Bob took me. Bob's information and honesty was well received and more than solidified my trust him and Joyce Koon Honda. This trust is one of the man reasons I take my car to them. At the end of the day my car was ready for pick up and washed. Bob really made my day. Thanks Bob More
