Folks at Joyce Koons Honda are always friendly. Nothing special. Was told there was wear on the inside of front tires and asked if I would like to have an alignment done. I said that I couldn't at this time and the service advisor, Robert Miner, turne of front tires and asked if I would like to have an alignment done. I am in the market for a Honda Odyssey Elite model and I initially emailed them. They stated they had a black one and listed a price of 39.3k. I called and spoke to a Jennifer in internet sales who stated t initially emailed them. They stated they had a black one and listed a price of 39.3k. I called and spoke to a Jennifer in internet sales who stated that she had one. I told her I had an offer accepted for 37000 and that if she would match that I would purchase the car that day. After putting me on hold (she had to go speak to her manager), she said they were firm at 37,105. I told her I accepted that and my sister/brother in law would be in to buy the car that day. Upon arrival to the dealership Eddie Castro (the general manager) stated that the price was for a touring model, not a touring elite. This is contrary to reality since I had made it clear 3-4 times during my phone convo that this was for the TOURING ELITE MODEL. They did not even have a black touring model in stock. Mr. Castro, the general sales manager, refused to honor the price, stating he didnt "sell the volume that other dealers" do to offer that price. Honda is, at this time offering a 2500 dealer rebate on these cars. Not only were they dishonest, but they wasted our time and were very blasé about this. STAY AWAY. This car will make my family's 10th honda purchase. None as bad as this. More
Luckily for me I discovered a service manager (Joe Carroll) that really cares about his customes and the service that they receive!! We wanted a Honda CRV, we got an on-line quote, we came, we were assisted immediately, we test drove the car we wanted, the on-line price was honored, no one harassed us about extras.
