We brought our 2006 Odyssey in for an oil change and 90K service on Sunday 20 Jan 2013. Everything was done in a timely manner. However, today 24 Jan 2013, while driving in the snow and spray we discovered service on Sunday 20 Jan 2013. Everything was done in a timely manner. However, today 24 Jan 2013, while driving in the snow and spray we discovered that it was out of washer fluid. I would have expected that to be checked and filled during a several hundred dollar service appt. Edited 1/27/2013 I have edited my review to all fives. The service dept did fill the wiper fluid. The reason the fluid would not come out was it was frozen. Sorry for the initial review and thank you for the response to make the situation right. More
I had service work done that was recommended from a prior visit. Joe was was very nice, courteous and informative of the work that needed to be done. I never thought that I would ever leave a car dealer with a good experience. Amazingly, my experience with John Simmons was unexpectedly pleasant. He assisted me with the up most professionalism. He was polite and helpful, providing me with answers to my questions and quick to assist in my purchasing needs. I live in Maryland and purchased with Mr. Simmons and Mr. Rowan in Finance, mostly, for the exceptional customer service and great financing Mr. Rowan secured, beating all previous rates I shopped. The main reason I didn't give them 5 stars across the board was because the mechanic did not perform a safety recall on the master door switch correctly the first time and I had to bring it back to the d board was because the mechanic did not perform a safety recall on the master door switch correctly the first time and I had to bring it back to the dealership to be fixed again. That said, the dealership called me on a Sunday to follow up and scheduled another service visit while on the phone at my convince. In addition, for the inconvenience of having to come back they gave me a $100 credit against any future service or part purchase. During my first visit the mechanic did spot a torn engine mount during their inspection and alerted me to this. This is a common problem for older CRVs. One of my sister's had this problem on her CRV and did not catch it in time, which ended up costing her $1800 as a result of other damage incurred when the mount completely failed. So the mechanic's inspection caught this early and saved me a much larger repair bill. I did purchase this CRV from this dealership and have browsed there a few times while looking for other cars to buy. For the new car purchasing experience I'll add that the sales staff was very pleasurable to work with. They did push a bunch of high pressure sales pitches on you, but they were there to answer any questions you had and explain all of the car's features and advantages. I would recommend this dealership for both new car purchases and servicing. More
