Took my Honda CRV in for oil change and emissions. I was thinking about 4 wheel alignment to get ready for the winter but was not sure. As usual, I made the appointment online at the dealer's website the night before. Dealer has both mobile and normal web sites for making online appointments. When I got to the service bays, I noticed that the service advisors had new gadgets (like laptops). They were using their gadgets to scan the VIN number, access my appointment and check me in with estimated cost. Cool - hopefully those things do not crash. I waited while the work was done. Wi-fi and desks are available. Kelly found me a bit later to report that their visual inspection found a nail in two different tires (wow). I approved the patches and I mentioned that I was thinking about the alignment but that I was not sure. Kelly pointed out that the dealership was having a service special for 4 wheel alignment at that time. I went for it. In all, it took couple of hours to get my oil change, emissions, two patches, two balances and 4 wheel alignment done. Kelly showed me the Before and After report for the 4 wheel alignment and based on the report, I did need the alignment (I wonder if I would have been charged if the Before report had showed that I did not need any alignment). At the cashier, I used a ten dollar coupon for the oil change. All coupons are available on the dealer's website. One satisfied customer. More
Saturday morning ...car's battery dead! Not good way to start your weekend. Did not know what to do. My neighbor had tried charging the battery and nothing was working. Best suggestion ever! I called and in less than an hour I had Charlie in my house with a mechanic (forgot his name) and a new battery. It was freezing outside ...they told me to wait inside. Not to worry that they were going to take care of everything. And they sure did! They were polite, friendly and efficient. And best of all, it reminded me of that personal service that we have back home (South America) when those professionals you trust come to your home anytime you need them. The best of feelings! Very slow process. We were there more than four hours. Getting the demo car to test drive took a good half hour. We were left waiting outside for what seemed to be an eternity. Finally the car came. Joyless. No one seemed excited for us. What should have been exciting and even fun, left me with a headache. Insulting. They made such a low-ball offer on my current car, that I was ready to leave. If they were not the closest dealer, I would have gone elsewhere. After my objection, they doubled the offer. Impersonal. I had follow-ups with two people within a few days, neither of whom remembered me. Not good. Lack of knowledge. The car comes with a radio code which is shown on a card. When I got home, the card was not there. I made calls to the guest services manager who told me to talk to the sales person. He told me to discuss it with my service advisor when I bring the car in. I did, and they showed me that the code was on the inside of the dashboard and were surprised that no one in sales told me to look there. More

The service was as friendly as always and the attempt to help address the issues was evident. However, one of the problems I identified on our CR-V was a pull to the right -- advising Ralph that I thou help address the issues was evident. However, one of the problems I identified on our CR-V was a pull to the right -- advising Ralph that I thought it might be the tires (something your dealership had previously identified). After checking with the mechanic that worked on the car, Ralph said the mechanic recommended a tire rotation, wheel balance, and wheel alignment. I must admit that I was not impressed with the diagnosis (and mentioned this to Ralph) -- there's not much left that you can do to a car so it didn't take a "mechanic" to derive that suggestion. However, I agreed to include the recommended repairs to my scheduled maintenance requirements. The CR-V continues to pull to the right just as badly as ever. While there is no reason for me to doubt that the mechanic rotated the tires, he probably moved the front tires to the rear (so if a tire truly was/is the problem this would not help fix it). What really FROSTS me, however, is that I am CERTAIN he did not test drive the CR-V (either before his "recommendation" nor after he completed the repairs). Only a fool -- or someone who did not care whther or not a client's problem was truly resolved would release an automobile below the standard we're used to receiving from your dealership. I will continue to be a customer, as I have received excellent service in the past, but Koons has now used up their "single point failure." Please know that if I ever receive second-rate service again, I will not return. Also know this, I am about to sell my Honda Civic and, come this Spring, will be shopping for another vehicle. I had not intended to shop for a car anywhere else -- but that has now changed. As I said, I will be back, but my loyalty is based on your support when I need it. You have not met your end of the deal. More
My family has been going to [Joyce] Koons Honda ever since my mother purchased her 1973 Honda Civic there. Most recently I had a transmission repair (replacement done there) and they were fantastic since my mother purchased her 1973 Honda Civic there. Most recently I had a transmission repair (replacement done there) and they were fantastic. I always hold back posting any reviews for a while to see if things are really good. The car sounded a bit funny with the new transmission; there was a whistle that was very audible whether the car was in drive or park. Hmm, seems engine related. Today, the car leaked transmission fluid all over my driveway, and a friends driveway down the road that I'd stopped at to drop off a holiday gift. Drove it home and called requesting turnkey service for them to come pick it up and repair. I do not expect a charge. We'll see. More

I went to the dealership knowing what I wanted to purchase. I had looked online first and had spoke with Doug Miller who was a great help! When I arrived at the dealer, everyone I happened to meet purchase. I had looked online first and had spoke with Doug Miller who was a great help! When I arrived at the dealer, everyone I happened to meet there, were very friendly and helpful people! They made it an enjoyable experience and also took time to pay attention to my young daughter as well. Overall, I am very pleased with the service and will make the hour drive to have all my Honda needs taken care of! More
