After deciding to buy a vehicle that was on the lot, it took over five hours at the dealership to negotiate the price, sign the contract and then meet with the financial manager, finance the car, and get the registration and license plate. The Business Manager attempted to pass off the average sales price of the vehicle as the USAA negotiated price. Fortunately, I had the email from USAA with a significantly lower price. The Business Manager then refused to offer a $750 loyalty discount because "Honda didn't offer that discount on the model vehicle I was purchasing." He gave NO consideration that I previously purchased three other Hondas from that dealership. This was my fourth, AND FINAL vehicle from this dealership. I have a Honda dealer much closer to my house. They can't really provide much worse customer service. More

Customer of many years We have purchased now 3 cars from Joyce Koons, all Honda. We have been very happy with our experience there, they have always taken good care of our cars, we have only ever had them serviced at Joyce Koons. 'We recently purchased a 2018 Honda CR-V, in February. Our salesperson was Mansour. Very helpful, ran all over to get us the cars we wanted to test drive or look at. Very patient. We had our eye on one and after 3 visits to the dealership (because we hadn't had our mind made up and we were considering other SUVs), he helped us get the one we wanted at the price we wanted to pay. What I didn't like: The paperwork process, which was relatively straightforward, as we were not financing, but the PRESSURE to buy an extended warranty was unwarranted! All the scare tactics about the "complicated computers" and having to sign FOUR TIMES that I did NOT want to purchase an extended warranty. Also the fake phone call that miraculously brought the price down from $2900 to $1900. It was all such a ridiculous dog-and-pony show. FACT: These warranties can be bought anywhere at anytime. You do not need to feel pressured into buying one at the time of purchase! If you say no, and decide later you want one, legit companies are available who are willing to sell you one to meet any number of a variety of needs. There are also a lot of scammers, too, so watch out for that. There is nothing wrong with offering an extended warranty. Many people need that peace of mind. Fine. But if a customer says "no" then MOVE ON!! Dropping 10s of thousands of dollars to buy a car is emotional enough, we don't need our feelings of vulnerability exploited with unnecessary scare-drama. I don't remember the person's name who we dealt with in there, but it was in the Buick/GMC building. More

On my recent visit, he worked with me to determine the most-needed servicing for my five-year-old Crosstour, then applied the optimal discounts. He has worked at the dealership more than 11 years and really knows Honda automobiles. He has actually said, "No, you really don't requite that at this time" to service issues recommended by Honda's maintenance cycle. More

After my initial experience I was very happy with Joyce Koons. The sales reps were very polite and professional and explained everything relating to the car quite well. In the interview with the finance manager, I asked about how billing would take place and was told that I could set everything up through American Honda Finance (and I would be paying them, not the dealership). A few days later I called to ask and confirm my questions about billing and the reoccurring date of my payment. The finance manager I spoke to was very rude, but told me I would receive a bill from Honda and to wait for that. I waited for the bill to come via email or paper mail but never received anything at all. I called again and left a vm for the finance office but never got a call back. I simply assumed the bill was late or they would bill me a month out. I got a call four days after the reoccurring date and was told I owed Joyce Koons for my car payment because they paid American Honda Finance and I had to reimburse them. This was not made aware to me in the original interview or the two times I called. I never received anything from Joyce Koons letting me know I would need to contact them, instead of American Honda Finance, to settle my account. Nothing. I had no problem doing so, but I was not notified until four days AFTER the date?!? When I brought this up, they got very defensive and very rude, implying that I was attempting to get out of paying my car payment. This whole interaction was very unprofessional and extremely frustrating as it now looks like I paid my car payment late on purpose or out of irresponsibility. It all seems very sketchy. Someone there dropped the ball majorly regarding communication and attempted to throw all of the blame on me. Terrible customer service. Would not recommend whatsoever. Would give zero stars if possible. More
