It was almost 80 years ago when, Karl Knauz the father of the current chairman, Bill Knauz, created the dealership that would bear his name for generations to come. Karl Knauz after years of being a chauffeur opened a gas station in Lake Forest. Did he imagine that this modest beginning would come to be one of the most recognized dealerships in the country. The franchises they have now, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, MINI, Land Rover, Hyundai, smart have put their trust in the Knauz family, (with Mercedes-Benz going all the way back to 1959). They have weathered the good times and the bad, and done so by taking care of customer's using 'The Golden Rule".

In the end the prices here were higher than other dealers so I ended up making my purchase elsewhere but I do plan on bringing my vehicle back here for service in the future. I also would not hesitate to come back again the next time I am in the market for another luxury import vehicle. More

new 330i During the Stay at Home order, Knauz BMW worked with me over the telephone to reach an agreement for my purchase of a new 2020 330i. Matt had the car During the Stay at Home order, Knauz BMW worked with me over the telephone to reach an agreement for my purchase of a new 2020 330i. Matt had the car prepped and ready for us the following morning. The financing went smooth and we left with our new car in an hour. I am fortunate to have a BMW Genius as a son, as Jon went over everything with me to get the car up and running since that piece was missing during the dealership delivery due to a contactless agreement. Since no paper manual is included with the car, it was extremely valuable having Jon show me everything my new BMW has to offer! More

We purchased a new 2020 BMW X5 after years of dealing with Sam on and off without purchasing because we were in another brand. As soon as we decided to look at BMW again, we looked up Sam who still remembered us. He was very responsive, honest, friendly and fair - not pushy at all. Glad we finally were able to purchase from him. I have referred a couple of friends who have also commented on Sam's friendly, helpful disposition. If you are looking for a knowledgeable salesman with a great attitude and willingness to work with you, I can't recommend Sam enough. More
