I had contacted the special finance department a JJ to see if it would be at all possible to get into a new car. The car I had was a 1999 Nissan Sentra - mannual worked great but I commute a good distance m-f for work so the miles were adding up quick and I wanted something more reliable. I initially spoke with Gabe Catbagan about what possible options I had. During that time he told me I needed to wait just a little longer until my BK discharged fully. He told me he would be in touch when that time came! Gabe kept his word and gave me a call as soon as the BK discharged. by that time I was a bit discourgaed from being turned down at all these other dealerships, but Gabe kept Optomistic. Gabe scheduled me to come down- and isntead of discussing what type of car I want, and test driving he said " lets work the numbers first" then once we get you approved we can have some fun! and he did just that. I waitied for the finace team to work their magic and before I knew it, Gabe came walking in with several different keys and said " lets go test drive the car of your choice" and we did just that! I am now the proud own of a chevy 2016 cruz. Gabe was so knowledgable about my car from everthing on the exterior of it to the interior. I had every single question asked. he was friendly, optomistic and truly worked diligently on getting me an affordable deal! he as well as the rest of the finace team gave me the best car buying experience I have ever had! True VIP Customer Relationship! We were shopping for a 2015 car for about two weeks. Did some online research and looked at several cars that were highly rated. On the day of our appointment we mentioned to our physical therapist , AMY, that we were going to test drive an Impala that morning. She told us that her father worked at Jimmy Johnson in Kearny Mesa, and she would love to have us meet him and the staff at JJ Chevrolet. A cool coincidence, Amy went so far as to give us her Dad's, Dennis Young's biz card and she texted him to look for us that morning. We left the PT clinic and drove right to the dealership. As soon as we arrived at Jimmie Johnson Chevrolet, we were greeted by three members of their sales team! Dennis Young, Craig Kitnick, and Brandon Danieli met us in the new car lot within a few minutes of our arrival.. They were friendly, enthusiastic, and seemed sincerely interested in our needs. We were immediately impressed with such a great customer service attitude enhanced by direct eye contact and firm hand shakes. Craig took us through the initial phase of the process to identify our needs/wants and expectations. He answered all of our questions, and confirmed the availability of the model and color of the vehicle we selected. He took us for a test drive of the vehicle we selected, after which he collected pertinent information and gave us an overview of how the purchase process works.. We were treated with respect, encouraged to be frank and established a rapport quickly. Craig introduced us to Andy Ali, Finance Manager, who moved quickly and professionally into specifics of the transaction. As Andy answered our specific questions and met our requests he crafted and presented three different specific consecutive versions of the proposed transaction to make certain we were both comfortable and satisfied with the parameters and conditions of the deal. At no time were we pressured or manipulated. The entire process, from start to finish, was enjoyable and actually empowering from a standpoint of our sense of partnership in the deal that was established from the get go. While we had not committed to purchase a car that day, both of us agreed that we would be missing a terrific opportunity by not taking advantage of the outstanding deal offered by the dealership, the excellent service and ongoing support available to us as well as the confidence in the staff. True to their reputation, they took on my challenge and was able to get me into a brand new Cruz with everything I asked for! and they even got me into a rate of 3.49! My wife and I were blown away by everyone there, from the receptionist who made sure we always had cold water to the finance guy who completed the final paperwork. Our salesman even drove us to the bank so we could take care of some things before proceeding. JJ chevy will always have my business, as well as my friends and family! More
