I would probably recommend your dealership but would offer words of caution. After my purchase I was a little surprised that the gas tank was only filled halfway. About a week or two later I called service to find out when the last oil change was performed. Again I was surprised to find out it was a few miles overdue. I would think it would have been kept up to date. So I went in to your service department that same day for an oil change and tire rotation. Lastly I requested rubber floor mats for the truck which were approved. After 2-3 weeks I stopped in and checked with the parts dept. to see if they had arrived. There was no order placed with them but they said maybe 3rd party mats had been ordered. Again I was surprised a Ford dealership wouldn't provide Ford mats. Terrible Service, never returning to dealer We have been going to Keith Hawthorne for a few years now and unfortunately this is going to be the last time we will be going. First off, this is not We have been going to Keith Hawthorne for a few years now and unfortunately this is going to be the last time we will be going. First off, this is not the first time we have been un-happy with our service. The first time was after having a recall fix performed, but messed up the alignment of the vehicle. This was repaired the next day when taken back which was great, but it should not have come to that. Secondly, my wife is the person that takes the car to the dealership as it is primarily her vehicle and she has told me especially in the last year that she felt they are talking down to her because she is a female and feels like they are just trying to get a sale, particularly dealing with Rick. This time though we noticed something after we got the vehicle back. When going to clean the air filter, because we have a washable air filter, we noticed a hose was broken to the air intake hose after the air filter. Because of this I took pictures and closed the hood. When i inquired about it I was told the Service Manager would call me to discuss, that was on April 6th during an online chat. It was an online chat as when I called the Service Department on April 6th from the phone number on their website nobody answered the phone. After waiting 24 hours and getting no response I went onsite on April 7th to get answers. At which point the Service person who assisted me was very pleasant, she went above and beyond. But the thing that got me was the fact that the Service Manager for the department could not come out and talk to me, made her do all of the talking to a disgruntled customer as opposed to being a Manager and dealing with an upset customer. After admitting that had the part been broken prior to the visit the Technician should've seen this during the inspection after the oil change. I was told that Service Manager was talking to the Technician about this issue. But yet I paid my $60 already for an oil change that is supposed to include a 40 point inspection called the Works, and was not told or advised about the issue on my vehicle during that inspection and instead I found it upon opening my own hood, how does that help me? Given the fact that they were so eager to sell me Tires you would think they would've wanted to up sell us on this part as well. If you want to give your business to a dealership that clearly cares more about up sales than taking care of their customers through honesty, integrity and customer service then Keith Hawthorne is the place for you. I myself will not return. More
