Less than 6 months ago, we purchased a used vehicle from this dealership for approximately $56,000. Since then, we have put fewer than 600 miles on it. The car is in pristine condition, yet we’ve already experienced multiple issues that made us deeply regret the purchase. Hoping the dealership would stand behind their customer and at least try to help make the situation right, I called to ask about having the car appraised to potentially sell back. I was specifically told I needed to come in person so they could properly evaluate it. So I packed up my five-month-old twins and drove over an hour to the dealership. Any parent of infants knows how difficult that alone can be — planning feedings, naps, diapers, loading and unloading babies — all while trying to trust that a business you just gave tens of thousands of dollars to would treat you with basic honesty and respect. Instead, they took my key, walked outside for literally two minutes, came back, and offered $41,000. A $15,000 loss in just a few months on a pristine vehicle with almost no miles added. No real evaluation. No compassion. No attempt to understand why we were unhappy. Just a number thrown at us with the excuse that “it’s the market.” It was insulting. It felt manipulative. And honestly, it felt cruel. What hurt the most wasn’t even the number — it was the complete lack of humanity behind it. Not once did anyone acknowledge the inconvenience of bringing two babies there. Not once did anyone try to make us feel valued as customers. Not once did anyone seem to care that we were unhappy with a vehicle we had JUST purchased from them. This dealership may know how to sell cars, but they clearly do not value honesty, customer service, integrity, or long-term relationships with the people who trust them. Once the paperwork is signed, you become just another transaction. Businesses reveal their character when customers have problems — not when they’re making a sale. Unfortunately, this experience showed me a dealership with no moral compass, no accountability, and no genuine care for the people walking through their doors. I would strongly encourage others to think carefully before trusting this dealership with your time, money, or family. More

Kelly Honda has been my go-to dealership since I leased my first vehicle, and I am now on my 5th lease with them. During COVID, I unfortunately had to go through Herb Chambers Honda of Boston because Kelly my first vehicle, and I am now on my 5th lease with them. During COVID, I unfortunately had to go through Herb Chambers Honda of Boston because Kelly did not have the vehicle I was looking for, and it was the worst experience I have ever had in the car and customer service industry. It left me with immense distrust in the industry (and I worked in insurance for over 8 years, so that says a lot). From that moment on, I knew that when my lease ended, returning to Kelly Honda was a must and they did not disappoint. In September 2025, the time came to change my lease, and although just thinking about stepping into a dealership brought anxiety after my previous experience, I walked into Kelly Honda confident they would take care of me as they had with my prior leases. I was greeted by Khalil McCarthy, who took the time to show me multiple models I had in mind with patience, professionalism, and a genuinely positive attitude. After some negotiation, I was introduced to sales manager Kyle Milan, who is truly one of the best managers I’ve worked with. He immediately recognized that I was experienced with leasing and went above and beyond to ensure I felt confident and valued throughout the process. I had my heart set on a 2026 Honda Civic Hatchback Sport Touring, which had just been released at the time and was extremely limited in Massachusetts, especially in the Sand Dune Pearl color I wanted. Without hesitation, Kyle worked to locate the exact vehicle out of state and made sure it was secured. Then Kahlil personally drove to Maine to pick up my new car. Together, they made the entire experience smooth, timely, and completely stress-free. I also want to recognize Ryn Benson for his support throughout the signing process, as well as for handling the registration and ensuring that a previous agreement was fully honored. He kept his word regarding a special order of the Honda “H” emblem we had discussed with the team and made sure everything was completed exactly as promised. His attention to detail, follow-through, and commitment to customer satisfaction truly stood out. The entire team demonstrated professionalism, transparency, and genuine care- qualities that are rare in this industry. After a very negative experience elsewhere, Kelly Honda fully restored my trust. This is exactly how car leasing should feel: respectful, honest, and customer-focused. I will absolutely continue to return for future leases and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dealership that truly puts the customer first and have honesty at their core!
