Disorganized In June of this year I bought a Nissan Leaf at this dealership. Last week I brought it in for my first scheduled maintenance. About two weeks before In June of this year I bought a Nissan Leaf at this dealership. Last week I brought it in for my first scheduled maintenance. About two weeks before my appointment, I got a recall notice about my car's braking system, so I called Nissan, told them I had an appointment coming-up on Saturday the 12th, told them about the recall notice and asked them if I could have the recall done at the same time as my scheduled maintenance. At first they said, "No" The Leaf techs weren't in on Saturday. Then they asked me to hold for a minute. After a few minutes they came back on the line and told me that I would be able to have my recall notice done during my appointment. They said that a Leaf technician didn't need to be there to perform the recall. So I brought my car in Saturday before my 1 p.m. appointment, and told them I would be back at 3 p.m. to pick-up the car. They said, "Perfect." At 3 p.m. they called me and said that they wouldn't be able to perform the recall upgrade because they needed a Leaf tech, and they didn't work on Saturday. They asked me if they could keep the car over the weekend, which I agreed to do. I had to pick the car up Monday morning and take 2.5 hours of vacation time from my job. I have three problems with this: 1) I called them two weeks in advance to specifically ask the question about whether the recall could be cone on Saturday, and they ended-up saying, "Yes." 2) My service advisor didn't tell me when I dropped the car off that the recall notice couldn't be performed. 3) They didn't call me until I was ready to pick-up my car to tell me that the recall notice couldn't be done that day. They are just disorganized, especially when it comes to servicing electric cars, I think. More
