Xpress Service not exactly "express". I dropped my car off for an oil change and multi-point inspection on July 3rd (Thurs). Normally I would call days ahead to make an appointment for this, but the service rep told me about their Xpress service in which I can just stop by and have the service done quickly. I brought my car in at 9am that Thurs, and the service rep was very cordial and was able to initiate the process quickly. He did warn me that they were busy that day, but expected it to be done in 2-3 hours. Since I had arranged a ride home, I decided to leave my car there and asked the rep to call me when it is ready. After waiting for 3 1/2 hours, I called the service dept to see if my car was ready to be picked up. The rep told me it was just entering the bay and should be ready in 1 1/2 hours. After waiting an additional 2 hours, I called again to ask if the car was ready. The rep said they were finishing up and it would be another 20 mins. I told the rep that I would start heading over there in anticipation for the car to be ready. I arrived at the dealership in 10 mins and I had to wait another 30 mins before the car was ready. All told, I dropped my car off at 9am and it was not ready until 2:40pm. The whole time the service reps were very nice, so I have no complaints there. I just feel that if you advertise "Xpress Service", then it should not take over 5 1/2 hours to complete a routine oil change and inspection. -Mike Silveira More

We had test driving, went through car specs, he answered my questions, gave me several advice but respect my choice at the end. He helped me to contact my insurance company and settled it down. He has good knowledge about the car(s). He explained the feature of the car that I finally bought in detail. You gain knowledge about car when you talk to him. The overall experience with this dealer was also smooth and efficient. Steve did a very good job, I would recommend this dealership, especially Steve Warren to anybody who has interesting to VW. More
Very Poor Experience I recently visited Kelly VW with my family to test drive and potentially purchase a VW Sportwagen. Our experience was fairly standard at first - we dr I recently visited Kelly VW with my family to test drive and potentially purchase a VW Sportwagen. Our experience was fairly standard at first - we drove the car, talked colors, options, etc... The salesperson was fine – not great, but we went through the motions and all was OK. If the price was right, we would’ve bought the car that day. This quickly changed once price became a part of the conversation. Like anyone else, my goal was to get the vehicle for the lowest price possible - period. I think this is pretty standard, yet when I challenged their "best quote", I was met with a surly attitude and borderline aggressive posture. Despite the claim that the quote was the best they could do, the salesperson kept pressing me to give him my number, after I mentioned that I wanted to see if I could do better elsewhere. He continued on what felt like an interrogation. This was followed by offensive comments regarding whether this car was right for me based upon price (meanwhile I pulled into the lot in my Lexus SUV). As if this wasn’t bad enough, the floor manager stepped in and instead of saving the situation; he escalated it by snickering at my plan of checking the competition, accusing me of playing games, and trying to make me feel guilty about him “having to work on a Sunday”. Needless to say, this was a deal breaker for me no matter what the price and we left, but not without getting a snide “have a nice day” from the same floor manager. Not only has this soured my feelings regarding this particular dealership, but it makes me want to steer away from any of the Kelly dealerships, which is a shame, because I am sure there are plenty of great people there based on other reviews I have seen, but I can only speak to my experience. A few things of note: 1. This is the first review of any business I have ever written, which should tell you something. 2. I work in the financial world and am not offended easily – especially when talking numbers. 3. I arrived at the dealership with my 19 mth old, 8 mth pregnant wife, and my parents. This was a rare chance where we had someone to watch the baby while we shopped – hence we were not “playing games”. 4. My last car purchase was a Lexus (a luxury brand with a somewhat snooty reputation) and the salespeople couldn’t have been nicer – especially when we were negotiating price. 5. In my book, the best you can hope for in a car buying experience is feeling like you got a good price - even if you didn’t. Had they kindly explained/proved that the quote was the best around I likely would’ve caved or at least come back if I failed to find a better price. 6. If I go with a VW, I will gladly pay more elsewhere to be treated respectfully. More
My experience at Kelly VW was probably one of the best I have ever had. I was greeted by the sales guy Steve Warren who was friendly & welcomed us. I have interest in a small car & Steve showed us the Jetta have ever had. I was greeted by the sales guy Steve Warren who was friendly & welcomed us. I have interest in a small car & Steve showed us the Jetta which I had many years ago & had problems with, Steve assured us that although Jetta did have some problems in the past today's version is superior to them. I would recommend Steve to anyone out there. He was probably the most professional sale person I have come across and Kelly VW 's new place is unbelievable.. More
