Love my New Pilot it has been my dream car for a while now and thanks to Ryan who did a great job of showing me why i made a great decision on selecting a Pilot! Sorry to say ryan but Honda sold me the c now and thanks to Ryan who did a great job of showing me why i made a great decision on selecting a Pilot! Sorry to say ryan but Honda sold me the car you just reassured me! :0) He wasent pushy like those other dealerships can be he has a great sense of humor! Especially all his stories about how hes ran out of gas on a test drives especially the one where he still made a sale on a park bench! you know you have a great sales man when you feel like its easy to talk to and not feel like your getting talked at. To be honest this is not my first time going to Kengraff but my last expirence made me scared to set foot in this place again! Unlike that guy Ryan didnt try to sell me a car i didnt want! thanks Ryan oh Issac was awsome also so but i didnt get any cool stories... Maybe next time More
Jason was professional and made my wife and I very relaxed. There was no aggression and he did not make us feel that we had to buy a car right then and there. I would recommend him to any of my frei relaxed. There was no aggression and he did not make us feel that we had to buy a car right then and there. I would recommend him to any of my freiends. Sometimes in life you are given a struggle in order to see how good you are. I think that was what happened with me this past week at Ken Garff Honda Riverdale. I had a couple of what I now see were un see how good you are. I think that was what happened with me this past week at Ken Garff Honda Riverdale. I had a couple of what I now see were unfortunate things happen during my purchase of a new CRV for my wife. I think that the majority of the struggles were do to the fact that I was dealing with a very nice young salesman who was quite new and maybe didn't know all the things that I had presented to him. The great and amazing part was that when I went back to discuss the concerns that I was having with the finance manager Issac Maw I was pleasantly surprised by his responsiveness to my concerns and his genuine interest in making sure that I was happy with my purchase. He even went so far as to bring in the General Manager JJ Wilkinson and to make sure that my concerns were properly addressed and that I was happy. What started out to be a situation that I was less than happy about turned into one where I have the up most confidence in the dealership and there ability to serve me for years to come. I would have no problem recommending them and there dealership to anyone looking for a new Honda. More
I am in the Military and needed a vehicle other than my Suburban to bring overseas with me. I decided to buy a 2013 Honda Pilot. I stopped here first and they gave me an unbeatable price. I took their offe Suburban to bring overseas with me. I decided to buy a 2013 Honda Pilot. I stopped here first and they gave me an unbeatable price. I took their offer to other dealerships and none of the other Honda dealers could touch it. In fact, Ken Garff Downtown (SLC) said the Riverdale store had to be mistaken. Anyway, I bought the car from Ken Garff Riverdale. I had my own financing and was very straightforward about this fact. My salesperson tried to get me fill out a Honda Finance Application claiming the dealership needed my information by law for the Patriot Act. I told him that the Patriot Act doesn't apply to buying cars, only securing the funds to buy the car. They were trying to run my credit and they know it. This was a straight faced lie by the salesman. Luckily, the subject was dropped immediately. I didn't fill out the form, but it makes me wonder how often people fall for this. After filling out all the paperwork (didn't give them my social security number AT ALL) for my Pilot, they pull it up all clean and nice....BUT WAIT! The Pilot they pulled up had a different VIN than what was on my paperwork. Was this a simple mistake? What would have happened if I didn't catch it? About 1 hour later the Honda Pilot I actually purchased shows up all nice and clean. It was identical in every detail. They did let me take the vehicle home, even though it was New Years Eve and my bank was closed. This means that they are rightfully nervous while waiting for funding, however, they do have my trade in. So, my wife and I are driving back from a family event the same night and BLAMMO, a speaker blows out in the drivers side door. At this point, the Pilot has 37 miles on it! No biggie though because it is a warranty item. I called the dealership and asked if the service department would be open the next day, which is New Years Day. The lady says yes, but they won't be in till 9:00. So, I wake up on New Years Day and drive over to the dealership to have the vehicle fixed. I arrived at 8:50 and waited. 9:00 AM hits and nothing. 9:05......9:15.....9:30...I go into the dealership. I speak to a salesman, who reluctantly sat his iPhone down to ask if I need help. I explain what has happened and he goes to talk to the manager. The salesperson comes back and informs me that I must have spoke to their new receptionist, but service was closed. I ask to speak with the mangager. I tell the manager, Philip Naluai, that I had been waiting outside in the service lane and most of his employees saw me and walked right by. He lets me know he wasn't even sure if the service department was going to be open either. Bottom line, watch out for classic dealer tricks from this place. The only person that was trustworthy in this whole process was the Finance Manager. Compare your new vehicles actual VIN number to your Contract BEFORE you drive off, or better yet, BEFORE you sign. I had a lot of questions regarding the options and/or advantages and disadvantages of leasing a vehicle. I had never owned a new car and Jason gave me time and courtesy of blocking out all other distrac advantages and disadvantages of leasing a vehicle. I had never owned a new car and Jason gave me time and courtesy of blocking out all other distractions to answer all my multiple questions. I felt like I fully understood the difference in leasing and the advantages, especially for a single female who needs the safety and service that it provides. He also took the time to go over options at the end of the lease time and that was helpful and made me feel knowledgeable and that I was receiving great service.. I would recommend him as well as Ken Garff Honda to any customer as I took my older honda with 230,450 miles in for service and they treated me like it was a new car and that I was important.. Thanks Ken Garff Honda and Jason Williams!! More
My first encounter with Jason Williams was a very helpful non-pressure experience. I was trying to narrow my choices down from 5 initial vehicles I had been looking at. We went back several days later, aft non-pressure experience. I was trying to narrow my choices down from 5 initial vehicles I had been looking at. We went back several days later, after narrowing our choices down to a couple of likely vehicles. After another test drive, more questions for Jason, more non-pressure time in the dealership, and finally after literally just a few minutes of price negotiations, the deal was cemented and finalized. Good experience. More
