Excellent and quick service. I scheduled a Sunday morning appointment due to work schedule. The service rep was very helpful and competent. The service was scheduled for 9:00 A.M., they took me on time and call for me to pick up at 10:30 A.M. All work was completed and the service rep was very polite and efficient. Unorganized, worst Toyota dealer. I was scheduled for oil change and fuel injection cleaning at 3 pm. When I arrived 3 pm and I was told that I only could get my oil changed on that da I was scheduled for oil change and fuel injection cleaning at 3 pm. When I arrived 3 pm and I was told that I only could get my oil changed on that day. As for fuel injection cleaning, Kendal Toyota didn't even have the equipment to do it on that day. I was told to come back two weeks later when they got the the equipment and test this service first. They couldn't tell me the price first because they never did this service before. I own Toyota cars for more than twenty years and I have gone to at least 10 Toyota dealers. I did at least 5 times fuel injection cleaning for my Toyota cars and this is the first dealer doesn't have the equipment and never did it before which really gave me a shock.I was in this dealer almost 4 hours for an oil change which could be done in an hour. The service advisor who met me to take my order just couldn't be found for my rest three and half hours there. All I can say about this dealer is if you want more than oil change don't go to this dealer in the afternoon because the schedule person doesn't know what she's doing and you will have to go back again. Good luck for your nightmare and shocks for this deaker. There is even no free bottle water offered by this dealer. Bring your own bottle water. More
Kendall Toyota As far as the service goes it was so so I was passed from service advisor to service advisor until I got Micheal Kim when I bring my truck in he is th As far as the service goes it was so so I was passed from service advisor to service advisor until I got Micheal Kim when I bring my truck in he is the go to guy he doesn't let it leave the shop until it's up to his standards and let me tell you I have never met anyone with any higher. While he was absent my truck left the shop with not only the matainance light on but every light that can be alumanited twice! In my opinion he should be the Service manager. And if he was a mechanic he would be the only one that I would let touch my truck. The only reason I still go to Kendall Toyota is because Of Mr Kim! Kendall made a good choice when they hired him. If they were smart they would do anything in there power to make sure he never leaves this company. I would be very proud of my company if more of employees were like him So KUDOS Kendall you did something right More

Awesome experience with the Salesman Okay I have to be truthfull the sales manager was pointless to deal with and would barely cut me any deals. But on the Flip side our salesman Kimball Okay I have to be truthfull the sales manager was pointless to deal with and would barely cut me any deals. But on the Flip side our salesman Kimball made up the difference. He kept his promises and apologized for not being able to help on some of the negotiations as the truck I was trying to get into was a hot item and the Sales Manager would not cut me any slack. Anyways Kimball kept me calm and by the end of the day he was the last person I saw when the deal was done. A little agitated by the sales manager but definitely pleased working with Kimball. I would highly recommend anyone buying a Toyota to go see Kimball at Kendall Toyota of Anchorage. Awesome experience working with him. More
Customer experience is an "F" When purchasing Toyota Cars was okay, dealing with the salesmen. But when it come to service setup (scheduling) etc. when it's time to get oil change. There should be available loaner as those maintenance service can take longer and for us to have to wait until done. Most of us have another things we have to do. Offer loaner to those who cars is getting service should be available. And you might can get all your employee on the same page as I called multiple times and stated loaners are available More
Buying experience okay, service is atrocious. We've bought two cars from this dealer, sales people are friendly, and the buying process was painless. However service department is an absolute nightmare, first problem is the near impossibility of getting anyone on the phone. Out of the last 10 times I've called for service two were never picked up at the front desk and of the other 8 transferred 6 have gone to voice mails. Out of 8 voice mails left at various departments I have never once received a call back. Then onto the service, I've brought in my vehicle 5 times for non scheduled maintenance problems. During 3 of those "fixes" they broke something else that I'm left to find later, one problem caused by the service department left me stranded and locked out of my vehicle forcing me to get a tow. One time they installed my part on the wrong vehicle and on top of that just handed me someones keys! If I hadn't correct them I could have just drove off with someones car! After telling them they messed up the job suddenly was going to take a whole day. During normal scheduled maintenance I was once told my car would take an hour to be done and that they would come get me. I waited in the service area and no one came around for over 2 hours. Finally tracked someone down and they told me it had been done for 45 minutes! They knew I was waiting! I've tried asking for the service manager four times and each times got a voice mail. Once again, leaving four voice mails I never got a call back. The last time I was in for service I was very upset, and the service agent said they would have the service manager call me back. Here we are a week later with no call. Now that the Toyota care warranty is over on both of our family vehicles we will -never- be returning to the service department. I also doubt, even with how much we enjoy our vehicles that we will ever purchase another from this dealership. The only nice thing I have to say is about the sales people, they were always professional and courteous. Maybe the sales force should teach customer service how to provide customer service. I've had to go back twice since my above problems for warranty issues and the service continues to be absolutely terrible. Every single time without fail when I go in the service is horrid. Even if I love the Toyota brand I will never buy a new Toyota from Kendall ever again. The next time something breaks under warranty I may just eat the cost and fix it at a local shop. More
