Tony (Featherweight) Zale. stellar salesman. Friendly, respectful, and not pushy. He understood how hard it was for me to let go of my 2012 Scion tc, and why I wanted a certified used vehicle. Bought my very first car My sales consultant was John Zale and from the get-go they were very welcoming and is flexible with the time and the date that I would want to come in My sales consultant was John Zale and from the get-go they were very welcoming and is flexible with the time and the date that I would want to come in. When we got there, the car was ready for a test drive and John's very informative about the car's specs and performance. It was my first ever car deal and John was not pressuring us to get the car, but instead he was patient enough to answer each and every questions we have. He was also nice enough to find a bank who could offer a much lower APR than what we already had. The Mazda CX-5's price was reasonable and the interior/exterior was still phenomenal even though it was used. Ken Freeland's very approachable. He explained everything to us in detail, most especially the advantages of insurance. Will definitely come back and recommend this dealership! Had an awesome experience with them! Definitely a 10/10! More

There's a lot to be said about small hometown dealers I just purchased a pre-owned practically new 2016 Ram pickup from Kennedy Mazda in Valpo. I have to say it was the first and probably not the last pur I just purchased a pre-owned practically new 2016 Ram pickup from Kennedy Mazda in Valpo. I have to say it was the first and probably not the last purchase for me with Kennedy. Trevor Sibley and Ken Freeland made it one of the most pleasurable car buying experiences I've had. ( there have been plenty) As our local dealerships are bought up the big city car dealers, its going to get harder and harder to take the time to make a decision on one of the most expensive purchases one can make without some high pressure pitch forcing you into something you may not be ready for. Support you local small town businesses, they are a pleasure to work with and will likely have the same representation next time you buy. More

The sales team doesn't pressure you or try to trick you into paying for extras that you don't want (like some other local dealerships). Andy, the sales manager, works so hard to give you the best deal the first time. He is transparent about costs, interest rates, cash back, payments, etc. and doesn't try to hide anything. You know exactly how much you are paying and exactly what you are paying for. Every purchase I have made at Kennedy has been a personal experience based on my individual circumstances and needs at the time. At Kennedy, I have always been treated like a person, not a number - even when returning for service. I do also want to give a shout out to John Zale for being so patient with us when we made our purchase (we had three kids in tow).
