I called for apt on 10/7 for oil change, state inspection, recall and rear wiper- scheduled for 10/16. Arrived and was told didn't have inspection sticker or wiper & was told would hold wiper, oth inspection, recall and rear wiper- scheduled for 10/16. Arrived and was told didn't have inspection sticker or wiper & was told would hold wiper, other work done, was given no indication that work was needed for inspection. I called on 10/25 to enqure about apt for remaing work- wiper and state inspection, scheduled for 10/31, wiper was replaced and I was told about breaks and leaking fluid so didn't pass inspection. Told I could come back on 11/14. 3 appointments for service requested on 10/7, needless to say I am not impressed but also spitting mad also never given any indication of cost for anything at any time. More

Paid $180 for diagnosis only to be told no problem. Thus, problem still exists and I'm out $180. Will probably have to take the problem to Wiscasset Ford for proper diagnosis and repair. I received a notice on my Ford App that there was a recall on my 2024 Ford Edge. Although I had purchased this vehicle from another dealer 2 hours away I went to Key Ford for advice on the seriousness recall on my 2024 Ford Edge. Left the truck all day to address the “check engine” and “check coolant additive” messages. Was informed that I needed a new SCR filter ($6,306.06) plus a sensor assembly ($285.57) plus labor for a grand to “check coolant additive” messages. Was informed that I needed a new SCR filter ($6,306.06) plus a sensor assembly ($285.57) plus labor for a grand total of $8,495.67! This was warranty repair from 2021 and thus is “out of warranty”….even though I’ve only driven a couple of thousand miles since then! I’ve bought 4 Ford vehicles in the last 15 years…..I will probably never buy another! By the way, when I drove away from the dealer, both warnings came on again!!! More
