We have been looking for a K5 GT or GT- line with black interior for awhile. This is like the unicorn of sedans. Most come with a red interior. We were lucky to work with Rico, who secured us a K5 GT with interior for awhile. This is like the unicorn of sedans. Most come with a red interior. We were lucky to work with Rico, who secured us a K5 GT with black interior for the price range we wanted. Rico was so easy to work with. Never did we feel the pressure to purchase anything. He never tried to upsell anything. He was also the first person to inform us about the markups all local Kia dealerships have these days because these K5s are so popular and the supply is so short. Most of or interaction was through text. Rico has the patience of a saint and answered all our questions on text or on the phone. He even took his time and typed out our payment options for different terms through text when I couldn't talk on the phone. After our purchase, Rico followed up with us the next day to make sure we were completely satsfied with the car. Kia of Carson should give Rico a giant bonus! Our only complaint is not with the sales team or the finance department, as both were excellent to work with. It is with the dealership's policy of marking up the price of the car. It was a $5000 markup, which is pretty high. At least one other dealership is higher and a few others are lower. But $5000 is almost 15% of the value of the car. More
