Customer service has gone downhill, but has gotten way more expensive. Don't bother scheduling an appointment. I used to schedule them on their website but noticed I was still waiting a long time. Last time I went in for an oil change and mentioned this to one of the service managers he told me that they don't see any of the appointments that get made online. Maybe this is something you should look into fixing or take the option off your website!? We waited almost 2 hours for an oil change but we had to leave and the manager told me to schedule an appointment with him for the following Monday and I would be in and out and in no time. I set an appointment for 5 p.m. I arrived at 4:50 p.m. and did not leave until almost 2 1/2 hours later!! This was for a simple oil change and new wiper blades! I will be looking elsewhere for the service needs on my Kia. More
My son recently got out of the military and has no line of credit. We decided to buy him a new KIA Niro for the dependability, gas mileage and the chance for him to make payments and establish credit. I ha of credit. I have a great credit score and planned on co-signing for my son to give him an opportunity to establish his own credit. At the time, Kia was offering .9% APR. A KIA dealer in the Detroit area told me that even though I have great credit, the best APR they could offer was 6% because my son did not have any credit. This felt like a scam to me, so I went to another KIA dealer. We found the same Niro on order at the dealership in Lansing. I explained the situation to Sean, our KIA dealer of Lansing. He said that didn’t sound right. Sean investigated the matter and found that was not accurate. I was able to cosign for my son with the lower promotional interest rate offered by KIA. Sean was informative in regards to the car arrival date and he was humble. During our car buying experience, I had a couple questions that Sean did not know the answer, but he took time to find the correct answer and got back with me. Sean was professional, courteous and attentive to our needs. Great job! More
