This dealership is only interested in maximizing profits. First, they add $5000 to the list price, as if the car is worth that, it is not. This coverage should be optional, but it is added automatically to all cars. They then send you to the finance department where the true scams take place. They use an electronic signing program to hide the content of documents you are signing. Our agent skipped over pages where he added two warranties for $5000, after we said we didn't want any extended warranties. He also added undisclosed vehicle predelivery fees of $1600. We were told the loan rate would be around 4%. Without disclosing the actual interest rate of 6.9%. All told they tried to add $16,600 to the price of the car. All of which is dealer profit. One last trick they use is to insist you switch your insurance to the new car even before the purchase is complete. This makes harder to back out of the deal. More
