I went to Kia on 3/13/2020 to get an oil change and brakes checked. I was told a full inspection was done and all I needed was brake pads replaced of course they charge a ridiculously high price to rep brakes checked. I was told a full inspection was done and all I needed was brake pads replaced of course they charge a ridiculously high price to replace brakes therefore I declined. So I went ahead to have my oil changed with no issues. Literally the next morning I drove my car my AC was completely out and blowing hot air. I have never had any issues with my AC until I let this dealership touch my car. I called them and was told to schedule another appt to take a look and was told somehow my compressor was faulty and it would be over $800 to fix. I feel that the mechanic intentionally did something to my AC in attempt to get more money out of me. If my air compressor was so bad then why wasn’t it noticed less than 24 hrs ago when during this so called inspection? The person that assisted me named Francisco and his manager did absolutely nothing to help. I will be getting a 2nd opinion on what was done to my car and it turns out my car was tampered with at all I will be seeking legal actions. Never again will I go to Kia dealership and I will be sure to tell every one I know to NOT go there, they will scam you especially being a woman who they will assume you are naive. More
