Lied To I found a good price on a used 2016 Kia Sportage at Kia Wesley Chapel which I confirmed prior to driving the hour plus from Clearwater. Once I arrived I found a good price on a used 2016 Kia Sportage at Kia Wesley Chapel which I confirmed prior to driving the hour plus from Clearwater. Once I arrived, they had to go get the car. I test drove it and liked it but, once I decided to buy it, I was told the price was a mistake and they would honor it but, I would have to trade my car and accept the $2,000. they were offering for it. I told them CarMax had offered more than double, they told me it was the only way they’d make the deal. The management is crooked. I should have left but, I noticed a used 2016 Kia Soul on the lot that was loaded and had a beautiful umber leather interior. I asked to see it.I drove it and liked it. We negotiated and they now offered me $5,000. trade allowance for my same car that just a few hours earlier was only worth $2,000. As I waited my turn, to go to the finance office, I asked to see the “clean Carfax” which was brought over by a sales manager (Isaac). It was presented to me with a verbal explanation of see, it’s clean, ONLY ONE ACCIDENT. This is not a clean Carfax folks, it clearly stated Moderate Damage and Isaac stood there and said, they only replaced the bumper. I did not buy a car there and cannot think of why I would or anyone else would. They are dishonest, leopards do not change their spots. DO YOUR HOMEWORK! The Kia Sportage was repriced over $6,000. higher on their website while the Kia Soul description still reads clean Carfax. The sales person William seemed fine. More
