Impeccable Service I went in for an oil-change, and as always, my fluids were topped off. I normally walk over to Masa & Joyce in the shopping complex next to King Windw I went in for an oil-change, and as always, my fluids were topped off. I normally walk over to Masa & Joyce in the shopping complex next to King Windward Nissan to grab some food to take home (and maybe munch on if I need to wait for my service) while my car is being worked on. I knew that because it was just an oil change, and I was in the express lane designated for that service, it would be quick. But I was surprised to see my car was finished in the short time it took me to order take-out! Taylor was friendly and helpful in checking me in and also in explaining to me some suggested future services. Taylor also presented me with estimated pricing for those possible future services so that I can plan for them. I really appreciate this. I'm always happy to take my car to King Windward Nissan, and Taylor's knowledge and helpfulness really added to the experience. More

Dirtier I had an appointment and took my vehicle in for an oil change, suspicious noise while in lower gear and car wash. Upon arrival I was told I needed tir I had an appointment and took my vehicle in for an oil change, suspicious noise while in lower gear and car wash. Upon arrival I was told I needed tires. So I requested a quote and received one. After waiting a reasonable amount of time, I received my keys and a paper to sign and told my vehicle was ready and parked outside. According to the paper, I did receive an oil change, something called a visual 27 point inspection (not sure what this inspects) and no car wash (notation on paper states car wash down for repair. As I was driving home my steering wheel felt gritty. When I arrived home I noticed black grime on my driver inside door and on the steering wheel. It wasn’t dirty prior to taking it into NISSAN, as I had cleaned it the day before in anticipation of the scheduled car wash. It was disappointing to not be told anything about the noise (so my concern was not addressed) and come away with a dirtier vehicle than what I took in. More
Would recommend with a caveat First of all I will want to thank Ryan my service agent rep. I will tell you he gets a 5 out of 5. Why? He had to be the bearer of good and bad news. First of all I will want to thank Ryan my service agent rep. I will tell you he gets a 5 out of 5. Why? He had to be the bearer of good and bad news. His demeanor and taking accountability for all the really bad things that happened with my vehicle. It took 4 tries before (knock on wood) that the service techs got things right. From not getting the A/C done the 1st,2nd, or 3rd time ( ended up one of the hoses was done badly and flooded the whole right side floor from front to back, which resulted in a poop like smell and mold), to cracking various parts of my dash/console, leaving out a live wire hanging from below front passenger glove compartment, amongst a few other things. My car sat at the dealership for almost 2 1/2 months before all parts came in and work was done. By that time my warranty had just about expired. With my thought of paying only a deductible of 100.00 and maybe an additional 100.00 for certain parts not covered, I ended up with paying about 460.00 or so. Now, through all this I was patient no matter the inconvenience. I was hoping to at least be reimbursed for half of what I paid. Believe me it was rough. The silver lining was the last time the car got serviced (leaking A/C that flooded right side interior of car front and back), it was repaired, so far so good. And they detailed the entire car. We are grateful. The other bright side of things was Ryan was a trooper. He kept in contact and had to deliver news that would have set off a bomb in most people. My salesman who sold me the car in 2016 was awesome Jordan Soffa, no pressure, people person, made us feel comfortable, most of all honest. In fact majority of the employees there are nice and addresses you when you walk in, rare quality these days. My wife and I love our car and must say it was and still is a high quality auto purchase. Now I will and have been recommended people to purchase a new or used vehicle from King Windward Nissan. But here is the caveat I tell them: the Service department sucks. I do feel that they all need to be trained correctly and ro be responsible for their actions. These tech are dealing with machines that carry people to and fro, many are children. Like doctors and surgeons, get it right the first time or it could lead to tragic endings. There is no room for sloppy work. Look at what happened to us it took 4 tries before things was done right. The only thing that was wrong when we first got our used Maxima, was the driver side front tire pretty much shredded from the inside out. This happened within a month and a half period. Now with a through inspection which is part of what Nissan performs, we would have thought it would have been caught. The tire literally tore apart from the inner side, the out facing part of the tire showed no indication of anything migjt be wrong.. We were.lucky we did not crash due to the tire blowing out. When the tire was replaced, the place we took it to showed us why the tire got flat, it wad torn to the point that metal wires were sticking out. My advice is a good overhaul or retraining of the service techs, it may well prevent accidents and lawsuits from occurring. Now, this very last time I had to service the car for the A/C flooding, it so far looks to be a great job. So my " No" answer is because I cannot tell people the Service dept is good, and they go and something happens to them like me. If there was a "Maybe" button, I would use that. For mow it's a very loose " No", but I still recommend to family and friends that Nissan is a great car brand and KWN is the place to get a auto. Now if only I could get a check in the mail for 1/2 of what I paid out of the 460.00 or so! Well just a thought. More

After about 40 minutes, she came looking for me, reviewed their checklist indicating everything was in good condition and/or operating correctly. Gave me the keys and I was off. My time there was just long enough to enjoy a cup of their free coffee and watch the morning news! Thanks King Windward Nissan and Taylor! More
