Throughout my shopping experience with Kingstowne Motorcars, I dealt with probably most of their staff. Sam was my main contact point. Their website communicates their inventory very well and the pictures and videos are accurate to the vehicle's condition. I wanted a BMW 6-series, convertible, 6-speed true standard. This is a tough car to find and they had one in mint condition. They are serious about not wanting lookers to drive their cars and put more mileage on them unless they are serious buyers. I returned several times and took the car for a drive. It handled great, and looked amazing. After great contemplation I decided to commit to purchase it. They do have a $1,000 deposit fee that the deposit contract clearly states is non-refundable. If you don't think you're serious about buying a car you find there, don't commit to the deposit. After the deposit, they let me take the BMW to an another certified repair location for an extensive evaluation. I don't think there are many dealers that would allow this, so they are serious about the condition of the cars they offer for sale! My evaluation found a few things that were of concern for me, and they worked with me to resolve them and make it right for my comfort level. I closed on the car, and drove it off the lot less than one-week after I originally saw it. I'm very happy with it and it is running great. I have received many, many compliments from strangers as to the appearance and condition of the car since I've been driving it. I've even been lucky with a few awesome fall days to drive with the top down! I would buy another car from Kingstowne Motorcars without hesitation, as their low overhead and internet-based marketing approach allows them to sell for a price-point far lower than most dealers could! We called the dealer the day of the sale and asked if the price was negotiable and they said it was. When we got there I expected to see a car lot but it was more of a office/warehouse park. We asked about the Acura TL we saw online and were taken into the garage/storage area and it was all the way in the back. Once we checked out the car inside, we asked if we could take it for a test drive. The salesman asked " Are you serious about buying today or later because we don't really like moving all these cars if you're not serious" I was taken aback by that but I was serious about buying and said so. While they were moving all the cars I did get a chance to look at all the other cars in storage, which were quite nice and appeared in good shape. Once I they got the car out, I got to really look at it. It was in very good condition both inside and out. While out on the test drive we noticed both wipers needed to be replaced, and all the tires pressure were low. Once we got back, i made an offer (nothing unreasonable), and Sam said the price was not negotiable. Again I was surprised by the response. After considering everything and the fact that the car was still under manufactory warranty, I told them I would take it. I told them about the 2 issues with the car nod they fixed them while I waited. What really surprised me is that they didn't even bother to fill the tank up. Closing was bland but straight forward, this is the. Final cost, sign here, here, and here, wait over there.. Once I got the car home, I had to top off all the fluids, washer fluid, anti-freeze, power steering, and break fluid. Again surprised that wasn't done. Over all I would give this experience an 7 More

I live in Kentucky, and to be quite honest, was apprehensive about purchasing a car so far away. They eased all my fears by providing multiple photos of the car with detailed description, plus offered examples of the many out of state sales that are made. They encouraged me to have outside service come and check the car out. We had a good friend that lived nearby. He visited Kingstowne Motorcars, test drove the car for us and came away very impressed. First off, it should be noted that buying a car in the DC area is not very fun. That said, I respect Kingstowne Motorcars for being a couple of important things: 1. Honest about their non-interest in adjusting a price and fairness in initial price setting - they study what the market will support 2. Extremely detailed in terms of the cars they acquire/maintain - I could eat dinner of the undercarriage of my Lexus SC430 3. Willing to let customers go on fairly extensive/lengthy test drives - I took about 3 hours worth of test drives/analysis If you understand what you want and can take some time to get a really close look at it, Kingstowne is an excellent place to shop. Sam was my salesman. He was a total gentleman and helped make me want to give Kingstowne my business. Bilal sealed the deal by working with me the day of purchase. Their business manner is old school/family style and made me feel good about making a big purchase. You don't get that at large dealerships, where you're just another tally on their sales tracking.
