I’ve been dealing with LaFontaine for nearly 2 years, and I’ve never had a problem with their service department, or their body shop when my Jeep needed repair from an accident. I was looking for a work vehicle and had tried Facebook marketplace, I also tried another dealer that I had done business with before, but I decided to try LaFontaine and found the exact vehicle I was looking for. It was more than what I needed, but the price was right. Nobody tried to upsell me, the dealer representative I worked with was very accommodating and beyond helpful, despite the fact this wasn’t a big sale. They were even accommodating when I had to step out for a second for some breathing room. Negotiations were friendly and to the point, they agreed to fix a wheel bearing, but honestly, the rest of the van was in great condition for what I was paying for it. The finance person was also helpful. Everyone made the deal stress-free and it was actually saving me time because I didn’t have to go to the Secretary of State. Everything was done there. If you’re looking for a cheap car, these guys inspect their vehicles and you can at least have some confidence that you’re getting some value. You’re also going to get with a private sale.
