Bad service experience I was treated very poorly by the service department over the course of this month (August 2019). I brought my brand new Jeep in because a window was r I was treated very poorly by the service department over the course of this month (August 2019). I brought my brand new Jeep in because a window was rattling on the hard top. I explained that I would be out of town for several days, and that the service techs should please replace the seal/glass of the affected window. The car had less than 3k miles. I heard nothing for 5 days. After a few phone calls, all of which I had to initiate, I was told I could come pick up my car. They told me they tightened some screws. The rattling was still present. Nobody looked at the glass. I brought it back, and they told me the glass needed to be replaced. They told me to come pick yo my jeep and they'd call me when the part was in. Several several days went by. I called again and they said yes, the part was in. Great, guys, that's news to me. A phone call would have been nice. So I scheduled to drop it off a third time, and the work was not completed on schedule. They told me their third party glass vendor dropped the ball, and they would be switching to a new company. That's nice. Bottom line, I took my brand new jeep in for service in August 1st for a simple issue, and it wasn't repaired until August 23rd. My concern here is that my family just bought 2 brand new jeeps here, and now I don't want to come back again for service, so the next time we need work done we will be going to Dick Scott, but in general I prefer to have my work done at the dealership I purchased from. Obviously that ship has sailed. I can only imagine the hassle if this had been an a substantial mechanical repair, instead of a simple glass replacement. More
