Poor communication, terrible phone switch board and they don’t call you back. Poor pricing, I was quoted a job it then DOUBLED in price when they found it was an insurance claim. Poor workmanship, car was in the shop for 6 weeks, returned, engine leaked oil. Took it back to be told that they had not sealed the oil pan correctly. Apparently fixed. Still leaked engine oil. Took it back, they claimed there was something else wrong a crack in the top oil pan that they had not seen before ? They would not stand by their original assessment and work and quoted the same price to fix it, this car was very nearly written off because of excessive quotes. I took vehicle to a reputable mechanic shop, specializing in imported vehicles, they fixed it in 3 days for half of the quote that VW Lakeland quoted. No follow up, no phone call from them, just extremely poor. They were asked to do a job, they got paid very well, didn’t fix it and didn’t have the decency even to follow up. Very poor and I will never set foot inside VW Lakeland ever again. Disappointed. More

Until recently, I’ve had nothing but an excellent experience with Lakeland VW. Matt, one of the service representatives, is a consummate professional, timely, communicates well and seems genuinely i experience with Lakeland VW. Matt, one of the service representatives, is a consummate professional, timely, communicates well and seems genuinely interested in providing a great customer service experience. However, my perception of Lakeland VW’s Service Department has recently changed. Matt remains an employee to be HIGHLY valued by this dealership. However, my perception of this business changed drastically when recently my service experience required a manager to be involved with an issue beyond Matt’s roles and responsibilities. The service manager at Lakeland VW, Giovanni, does not positively promote VW and is remarkably unprofessional. Based on my recent experience, he is not concerned with achieving even basic customer satisfaction, let alone maintaining customers and promoting future business. Sadly, because of his authority in that leadership position, he completely dismantled and dismissed what could have been a reasonable discussion and agreement between their business and a customer. We will no longer be using this dealership’s customer service department solely because of the Service Manager. We also will likely not be purchasing a VW again. This is currently the most convenient dealership for us, geographically. However, this experience has us questioning VW and/or this dealership’s priorities in selecting their managerial employees.
