I was ready to buy Honda CR-V early December but couldn't find the model that I wanted at the local dealers (PA) and the price was not satisfied for alternatives. My friend found what I needed (model, exteri find the model that I wanted at the local dealers (PA) and the price was not satisfied for alternatives. My friend found what I needed (model, exterior, interior etc.) from Landmark Honda website and notified me. I tried their "Live Chat" online and got response immediately. Soon after submitting my request, I got an email from Ron Hancock, the salesman of Landmark Honda, providing an excellent offer that satisfied my request. It was very quick and saved me a lot of time. After a few Q&As,I went to the dealer located in Alexandria, VA. The service in test drive, paperwork, financing etc. was smooth with help from Ron and Ann. So far (a week later) the car runs great. I like Landmark Honda's "Live Chat" and quick response, Ron's frank, friendly and professional service, as well as the excellent price without hidden fees. More
I have provided top-notch ratings because for my second experience with Landmark Honda thus far, service was above and beyond. Ron was very methodical yet humerous with his approach in demonstrating all as experience with Landmark Honda thus far, service was above and beyond. Ron was very methodical yet humerous with his approach in demonstrating all aspects of the value of the vehicle (Civic Hybrid) and even more important to me perhaps was that there was virtually no pressure for me to buy. The way the Landmark Honda family continually answered all questions, secured financing through my desired company with out me ever needing to be involved in the process, and the fact I was given the time needed to really feel out the prospective purchase that I felt I really needed to make an informed and confident decision, one would think I was their sole client for the day (and this was a Saturday)! Furthermore, the superior customer service certaintly didn't end with Ron, Bouna and Dino... my finance manager Maria was equally impressive with her knowledge of warrantees. Maria acknowledged my desire to feel comfortable with wanting to be sure I was protected in the event of "life happenings" with full understanding of my need to not exceed a monthly expenditure that I felt would perhaps be too much. To put it simply, Landmark Honda has yet again earned themselves a customer for life. I feel not only pleased and satisfied with my purchase, but also the extended welcome everyone I came in contact with provided to me, truly making me feel like I too am part of the Landmark Honda family. Customer service was great. My first contact with Mikhail was via the internet and a reply back with further information and details regarding the 2007 Honda Odyssey EXL we were interested in. From that, he was via the internet and a reply back with further information and details regarding the 2007 Honda Odyssey EXL we were interested in. From that, he called me directly and was very pleasant to talk to and he kept in touch regarding the pre-owned Odyssey's available. Once we noticed a variety to look at, we came in and met with Mikhail. He greeted us in such a pleasant manner, we looked forward to his service. We then proceeded out to the Odyssey's available. He asked a few questions as to what features are most important to us. And then narrowed the field down from five to two Odyssey's. Mikhail then got the keys and we looked at both. Both EXL's, but one did not have the NAV, that was not too important. Then we went over the two and chose one of those. We chose the one with the NAV and Rear Entertainment System. At that time Mikhail went over the Odyssey from the engine, the interior, the tires, the wheels, the options, the seats and how they fold and basically everything it has to offer. Then we discussed a test drive. We loaded up our two car seats, the two children, my wife and Mikhail went for a 20 minutes drive. Again he discussed the features and had us try them out. The boys loved it. Our only noticeable issue was a pull to the left when the wheel was held slightly and tires on the worn low side. Then my wife drove it back and she liked it also. Very comfortable ride. So for us, we had only planned on looking and maybe test driving one, we had no intentions on buying anything yet. But after this experience, we found one we liked and the price was ok. My last question was why this Odyssey was not a certified Honda vehicle? But I did not get an answer on that. After we returned we sat down and discussed what we liked about it and if we wanted to buy this Odyssey. Then Mikhail introduced Mr. Bouna, he was nice also. He discussed the price and asked about our credit. I shared that with him and had not had any success previously, so I did not expect any financing for us. BUT, he said to try and see what happens. So we took a day to talk about it and told them we'd contact them the next day. That was it! No pressure and again they greeted us good night and they looked forward to our call the next day. I called Mikhail and told him we'd go ahead and try financing. The following day he called and and said we were approved, not the greatest rate, but we were able to get this. So I returned that evening with a good faith deposit and filled out some paper work. I met with Maria, that went well, but I didn't really have time to go over all the paper work since it was late. I went with the LOJack, the extended warranty and the GAP insurance. The GAP insurance may be cancelled. Unfortunately for us, it rained most of the week and I did not get an opportunity to go over the Odyssey like I planned. We picked it up at night and again it was raining. We noticed a few more items, but what could we do at that point? A few dents, a back bumper that had been touched up and tires in my opinion should have been replaced. On the way home I noticed the pull to the left, one of our remote's is missing the back cover and we did not get any of the standard manuals that come with a vehicle. That to me was not right. Since we live in Maryland and it was purchased in Virginia, I needed to have it inspected. It passed but I still question the tires. When I'm notified that the Maryland tags are in, I will request that they check the alignment and tires again. Overall this was a good experience for buying a vehicle. I hope this review was not too long, we wanted to make it as detailed as possible. Mikhail, Bouna and Maria, thank you all, you were great and I'd refer my friends to you! Lastly, I'd still question why this Odyssey was not Honda Certifed? More
Gus went out of his way to get me the best possible care for my car. He repeatedly returned to keep me apprised of the options for my car and ways he could give me the best deal. I am always apprehensive in getting my cars serviced. I do over half the routine servicing myself and keep my cars in pristine condition. It is something I enjoy and take pride in. Some jobs however, lik do over half the routine servicing myself and keep my cars in pristine condition. It is something I enjoy and take pride in. Some jobs however, like getting the brake fluid replaced, I usually leave to the professionals. This is the first time I used this dealership; I have used another dealership in the area before but I wanted to find something better. So, I visited the service center at Landmark and found the staff to be helpful and the facility clean. A few days later I scheduled my servicing. When I brought my car in I had to use a drop box because it was too early in the morning for them to open, which they well posted is due to a City of Alexandria ordinance. The whole process worked well. I was contacted later in the day by Todd to review the inspection they normally conduct. I authorized an additional work item beyond having the brake fluid replaced. All work was completed in time for me to pick up the car that evening. I inspected the car at pickup and found the car showing no signs of wear (clean driver's seat, no scratches around the engine compartment). Quality of work was rated a 4 because the servicing wasn't totally thorough under the hood. The brake fluid reservoir had been filled to the top, well above the full mark, and had leaked out. I hadn't noticed this at the dealership because it was dusk, but I noticed it at home in my garage. I just wiped up the excess and chalked it up as a minor oversight. Todd and the mechanic (whose name slips me right now) did a great job answering all my questions and taking care of my car. More
Ron was a pleasure to work with and was very enthusiastic when selling us the car. He made the process very easy and entertaining. I found the car that I wanted on autotrader, located at Landmark Honda, it was definately a great deal and I wanted the car. I went to the dealership and Rafael came out to help us. He seemed alright and w Landmark Honda, it was definately a great deal and I wanted the car. I went to the dealership and Rafael came out to help us. He seemed alright and we took it for a test drive. The price of the car I got was great, I couldn't find another 2006 Rav4 fully loaded for under 18k with that few miles on it. I decided to purchase the car. While drawing up the paperwork Rafael started talking religion, which I don't believe in his religion and found offensive. I really wanted the car though, so I dealt with it and kept changing the subject. Now the car was covered in scratches, which the dealership gave us a "we owe" for them to buff and paint to fix the scratches. When I brought the car in to get it done, I left with the car looking great. It looked great up until my husband washed the wax off. They did NOT do anything but wax the car. We also bought the Cilajet on it, so by the time we realized it, all those huge scratches... now sealed it and we would have to remove the Cilajet, which we paid hundreds for, to fix them. The next issue was that I am active duty military and wanted out of state tags. About four days before the temp ones expired, they called to say they were overnighting the new ones. Great. Well next day came and they weren't there. I assumed maybe they had gotten them there late. It got to the point where it was hours before they were to expire and I wanted to come in to get different ones, as I have no way to get to work if I don't have a license plate. I called to talk to the woman in charge of plates and such and her reply was "drive with expired plates, the liklikhood of you getting pulled over is very slim." I'm pretty sure that for a car dealership to say that is illegal. I got so frustrated with her I just hung up and made my husband call back. Finally he got an answer that was acceptable, once they receive our real plates and send them out, they can't issue us temp ones. If the woman would have told us that instead of telling me to drive illegally, I would not have gotten upset. The car we bought also had a defective muffler, it went bad within 5000 miles. Landmark's reply was "it isn't in our warranty." I just spent a grand on a muffler that had a hole in it when I bought it, only I did not know it. I did get the car that I wanted for a good price, it just angers me at how much this place lies and swindles you. Don't take the time to write me a "we owe" if you aren't going to live up to it. More
My overall experience in purchasing a new Honda Ridgeline truck from Landmark Honda was extremely pleasurable. - Tye Pratt was focused on providing the best service possible, understnding that my time wa truck from Landmark Honda was extremely pleasurable. - Tye Pratt was focused on providing the best service possible, understnding that my time was valuable and making the process very efficient. I priced several dealerships in the metro DC area, and Mr Pratt came back and beat the lowest price offered by the next best dealer. There was no pressure sales. Mr Pratt and I discussed options and he provided me with the bottom line with zero hidden costs. Quite frankly, I did not expect to get this level of honesty and integrity out of a car dealership, based in large part on previous bad experiences. I would highly recommend Landmark Honda to anyone interested in purchasing a new or used vehicle. Thank you for the opportunity to express my opinion. VR, Peter Vasely More
Prisque was great but her manager was absolutely terrible. Prisque had responded to my email request for a quote on a 2009 Honda CR-V EX-L with navigation. The quote she provided me with was by far terrible. Prisque had responded to my email request for a quote on a 2009 Honda CR-V EX-L with navigation. The quote she provided me with was by far the lowest out of any of the local dealers, and it was an out the door quote, which included Maryland tax and title fees. This definitely lured me to the dealership with the written and itemized quote in hand in the hopes of sealing the deal and driving the new car off the lot. Unfortunately, as we were about to finalize the deal, her manager, who had originally approved the email quote Prisque sent me, decided to completely changed the terms of the sale at the last minute. His final offer ended up being over $1,600 more than the internet quote that I brought with me in writing. He was terrible to deal with and I ended up walking out of the dealership after he repeatedly refused to negotiate and refused to apologize for authorizing a quote that he knew he would not end up honoring. It was really unfortunate because Prisque was great to deal with and she was clearly upset and embarassed that her manager had pulled the rug out from underneath us like that. I would have loved to give her my business, but I certainly didn't want to give the management any money for being so dishonest and awful to deal with. I went elsewhere and the dealer I chose to do business with ended up matching the original quote that Landmark refused to honor. More
This was my second car buying experience with Ron Hancock and Landmark Honda in the last two months. My first car got totaled so I needed to replace. Took a chance and visited a few other dealers before comi and Landmark Honda in the last two months. My first car got totaled so I needed to replace. Took a chance and visited a few other dealers before coming back BUT I SHOULD HAVE JUST RETURNED HERE!! Great service, great understanding of what I needed and reliability to do some minor maintenance for me. Ron is a pleasure to work with and I will definitely recommend to ALL of my friends that they should START their car buying search with Landmark Honda instead of the other way around! More
