I needed to have brake plus installed as well as the theft deterrent installed. It took over 4 hours. When the woman came out to get my paperwork signed, there was no mention of the theft deterrent being done on the paperwork. It was raining and she " walked me to my car" but did not bother to offer to share her umbrella. The theft deterrent was installed, however it looked like a little kid had put the window sticker on. After closer inspection at home, I realized the stickers on the doors were not even installed properly and the sticker on the back hatch was on the plastic interior panel as opposed to the painted surface it should be on. I have made many attempts to contact the service department and they just do not return my calls. I had a great buying experience but the service department has made me decide to g9 elsewhere for my future auto needs. More

Tyler Smith was our sales person and is a huge asset to this company. I bought a 2020 Ram 2500 but live in Portland where the inventory selection was low. Tyler's efforts were beyond our expectations and when we arrived to pick up the truck Tyler even washed our truck before our departure. In addition, we had extras which were going to be added later and Tyler set all of those up for us as well. If you purchase a vehicle here definitely ask for Tyler Smith. More
Justin Smith is our sales person... I told him what I wanted, how much I was going to spend, and what minimum requirements I needed. He found me exactly what I needed and more of what I desired... he wen wanted, how much I was going to spend, and what minimum requirements I needed. He found me exactly what I needed and more of what I desired... he went to each lot that they have to find what I needed. I would recommend him to anyone. However, if you need a salesperson to focus only on you, he may not be your guy. He had many phone calls and other customers interrupt, but we never felt neglected. It gave me confidence that he was in demand. My husband will be getting a new Ram next year... I know Justin will get us what we want. On another note, check your financing paperwork very carefully. Our financer, Stephanie, told us the "We Owe" coordinator will be contacting us quickly to set up an appointment to get the work done; as we were excited and didn't receive any calls from the coordinator on Monday, we called several times and left messages on Tuesday and Wednesday, after no response, we called again and asked to speak to a Manager, the receptionist took our information and said "she would relay our complaint to the Coordinator's Supervisor and they would be contacting us soon.... I looked into the reviews for this place and I see they score very low in the "After the sale" and Customer Service, so I won't hold my breath. I see all of their responses to the negative posts say how disappointed they are to hear that we are disappointed and to email them to resolve the issue. If they were truly interested in taking care of us, one would think we would be speaking directly to a Manager and our issues would get resolved within a reasonable amount of time. With all of the negative posts about their Service Department, I'm fortunate to live in Lacey where a reputable dealer will take care of me. If it not for the price of the vehicle, I would not have purchased at this dealership. More

I went in to look at a few Jeep Wranglers we had discussed initially via text/email. He had the vehicles waiting when I arrived and even went out of his way to suggest other vehicles he knew would be close to my original request. He was always so patient, cheerful, knowledgeable and even went back to another lot to bring back a Jeep I had already seen, just so I could look at two side by side. Paul took the time to walk me thru every detail of the deal and come up with the best deal ever!! Paul had to do it all over again when I decided on a different Jeep in the end (that Josh originally suggested🙈) and patiently went through the entire process again. Stephanie in finance, what an angel!! Truly. She worked so hard to get me the best rates. Bless her, she also had to do all the paperwork twice due to my changing to new vehicle. She even helped me coordinate getting all the extra things I wanted for my new baby. Her recommendations were first rate. Stephanie, Josh and Paul...everyone, never once made me feel any request or question was an inconvenience. I literally took their entire day and I never felt pressured or rushed to make a decision. They ALL truly wanted me to just be HAPPY with the Jeep I would be taking home. Larson Automotive Group is lucky to have this team and I cannot recommend them highly enough. My experience with buying a vehicle at Larson Jeep was quite shocking in several ways. During the negotiating process we were upfront about the deal we wanted, that we understood if they couldn’t make it quite shocking in several ways. During the negotiating process we were upfront about the deal we wanted, that we understood if they couldn’t make it but that if not we were going to look elsewhere and not do a long back and forth and waste their time and ours. After not meeting our deal the sales rep, Landy, said she wanted to try one more time. We went ahead and let her. She came back with a deal that she said was what we wanted. She did not get the deal we wanted in fact and the manager or whoever it is that writes the offers had actually tried hiding that fact in the numbers. When we brought this up she grabbed the manager and brought him out and then did a whole show of how she was “sorry she didn’t understand that’s what we wanted.” She did clearly understand exactly what we wanted as we had discussed it thoroughly. While it was disappointing and frustrating to see her feigning her lack of understanding I get it, that’s a typical negotiation process. We went ahead and decided to continue the purchase. During the process she continually mentioned how they were not making any money off this sale and how they were basically paying us to take this car. Her entire demeanor became very brusque and unfriendly. She was even hesitant about if we would be getting a full tank of gas with it. When looking over the vehicle we discovered a scuff on the side of the fender. We asked assurance that they would get it removed. Landy said they would try to lighten it. To my shock She produced a paper to sign saying the car was delivered without any scratches etc.m and she seemed irritated when I wouldn’t sign it until after seeing the car cleaned up. After they cleaned it the scuff was exactly the same. We asked that they buff it out. Landy stated “there’s no money left for that, you took it all” and “it’s a scratch and dent.” She refused to make any other effort at removing it. She said well we can write on the paper there’s a scuff, which she did and to which I added “because they refused to fix.” During the paperwork signing with Ron the finance rep they sneakily tried adding back the 399 for brake plus which we had negotiated off. When asked Ron literally said to us that such and such number was just part of it when in reality it was in addition to it. When pointing this error out to Ron, he made a show of reassuring me it wasn’t that way and when pressed, finally admitted that yes that number was added. He had literally tried telling me that 900 was less then 500. He then went and talked to someone supposedly and got it removed. My partner and I were absolutely shocked that this is how this dealership does Business. First of all, don’t offer a deal if you don’t actually want to sell the car. But if you do, try to have some class still with it. Landy’d attitude was frankly appalling. What dealership shows such an utter lack of customer service and is ok with delivering a sub quality vehicle? How are they ok with their employees making these kind of statements and acting that way toward their customers? Their website says “dedicated to delivering superior service.” Nothing we experienced was even average service and in fact most of it was terrible. Instead of building a positive relationship and ensuring future business and us spreading positive word of mouth I have no intention of ever doing business with them again and am telling everyone I know not to go there as well. Which is unfortunate as many of our friends come to us for car advice and have made purchases based on our reviews, such as Subarus, who have always treated us with utmost respect. This really sours our start with a new auto brand. Oh and it turns out that scuff is all the way through the clear coat. More
5 Star Customer Service! We lost the electronic key for our Dodge Caravan about a year ago and had it replaced at Larson in Puyallup. Unfortunately, when it was replaced they forgot to put the manual key back inside and we didn't notice it until we needed it this year! -- I called and spoke to Shawna Koon in the Service Department. SERVICE is right! Shawna was able to have the key cut and sent out that very day at no charge. In today's fast pace, online world it is rare to find people who still deliver excellent customer service - Thank you Shawna for taking the time to make a difference in our day and make Puyallup Larson Dodge one of our favorite dealerships!
