Easy, No pressure We went in with the terms we were willing to pay for the car we wanted, and came out with an even better deal. Disappointing experience In the past, before Credit Now was bought by Lee, I bought 2 vehicles on separate occasions and was very happy with my decisions. So I decided to giv In the past, before Credit Now was bought by Lee, I bought 2 vehicles on separate occasions and was very happy with my decisions. So I decided to give Lee Credit Now a try when looking for a new used car. I had heard that they were supposed to do things the same as Linnehan's used to. According to Lee Credit Now's website, "QUESTION: "I've had a (Bankruptcy/Repossession/Divorce/Bad Credit). Can I still get approved?" ANSWER: Absolutely! We are Maine’s #1 Used Car Dealer because we have financing solutions NO OTHER DEALER has!" I went in and immediately informed them of credit problems. They told me no problem, they work with all kinds of circumstances. Also, they told me that if they couldn't find a bank to work with, they would put me into their buy here, pay here program. They were to supposed to call me the following day to let me know what they heard from the banks, but failed to. I called them and it seemed that everyone was avoiding me, but eventually, I spoke to a sales person. I was told that the banks wouldn't loan to me, which we had already discussed. I asked what about the buy here, pay here program and they said that if I could find a qualified co-signer and/or put down at least $1000 on top of my trade in, maybe they could work something out. I told them that didn't sound like what was in their advertising. I was told I would receive a call the following morning, but got none (again). So, I called them. The sales person seemed surprised to hear from me. When I asked pointedly about financing, I was told that if I could put down $2000, they could work with me. My problem is not so much that they can't work with me, but the attitude and advertising that they can work with anyone, just not me. I feel it is false advertising and they wasted much of my time. This was a very disappointing experience. I will never consider buying a vehicle from Lee Credit Now, nor will I ever suggest to anyone else that they do so. More

Very smooth, easy and well informed We were not planning on buying a vehicle this day but we saw a truck we really liked and decided to just check into it. We dealt with Jim Lyons first thing and what a personable sales rep. and knowledgeable at his job. He worked with us on everything we asked of him and made it happen. When we left it was all done on our terms and he was just as happy as we were. We negotiated interest rates, trade in value, negative balances, etc. and it was taken care of by Jim immediately with no judgment. I will deal with him and the Ellsworth people again anytime.
