In your original review, you indicated that you needed to trade in your vehicle because of mechanical concerns. I wasn't trying to imply anything other than we were here to help you make sure that your vehicle was maintained properly and in accordance with manufacturer specification. I do take issue with the implication that we were making things up or stating that your prior vehicle needed maintenance or repairs that were unnecessary or "not there". I would be happy to meet to review the matter with you and our Service Director if you have lingering questions or concerns. We appreciate your business. Mr. Wright, "mechanical circumstances" was NOT the problem, the problem was your service people "finding things" that were not there. My three new cars in my lifetime were always "properly maintained" and lasted 11.5, 15.5 and now 14 years each (hoping to get one last year). My father (before he passed) took very great care in our vehicles and it is an insult for you to say this. Your "we will do all that we can to help ensure that the new vehicle is properly maintained to ensure longevity" is a joke. Aside from warranty items, your "mechanics" will not be touching the car, as they are out to find things to fail the car and "necessitate" a new purchase (or line the service area's pockets--$$). I loved my Accent and the only reason I chose your dealership was you are the only local one to sell Hyundais and if I did wait one more year the new car prices would obviously go up and my Accent would be even worth less (even though you didn't give me much on it anyway); and up until last year's joke of an inspection (as well as this years') the service department did a "reasonable" job. If you were "here to help" you would've interpreted the manual correctly and passed the car (just had brand new brakes and rotors put in two days before inspection, and that place would have passed the car)--your mechanics could have told me how it passed emissions (but yet failed?) but wanted $1000 for a whole new exhaust system and not tell me that there were only two tiny holes that caused them to fail it. "Mechanical circumstances" did not necessitated the purchase; your service department did.

Mr Troxell - We regret that you did not have a good experience with our service center. Unfortunately, the visit in question was the first time we ever saw your 2003 Tiburon. You came in with an issue related to a computer that you personally installed in your car, not us. We informed you that the computer you installed was incorrect. The computer you installed is designed for a car with an automatic transmission. Your Tiburon has a manual transmission. We stand by our diagnosis and recommendation. If you would like to purchase the correct type of computer, we will be happy to see to it that it is installed properly. With that said, we regret to see that you made statements that our service department is "crooked". We've been in business for over 30 years and we have thousands of happy customers.
