I had recently purchased a 2012 Escape XLS, but was unhappy with the lack of options that the vehicle came standard with. Thus began my search for a '12 with more bells and even more whistles. My first stop was to Ted Russell Ford, but they couldn't, or wouldn't, work with the price limit that I had set. My next stop was to Lance Cunningham Ford, and as quickly my desire for a car with "more" had driven me there, my disgust with the prices of the vehicles and the salespeople drove me away. Determined not to be discouraged by the previous two dealers, I ventured out to Lenoir City Ford to test drive a '12 Escape Limited. From the minute I set my eyes on its shiny exterior, I knew I had to have it. It had all of upgrades I was looking for; soft, supple leather, fancy heated seats, loud sirius radio, a practical cargo shade, sexy roof rack, and a big V6 under the hood. It even had some I didn't know I wanted (mostly because I didn't know they existed), like the hidden cargo compartment and ambient lighting. Finally, the search was over. I had found my car. The only thing left in my way were the details, most importantly, how much. For what you can tell by my ratings above, I purchased the vehicle, and the experience couldn't have been any better. The sales staff was great, especially my saleswoman, Margo. She got the payments in the area that I wanted, and let me drive away with a feeling of being respected not only as a customer, but as a person too. All too often, dealerships are TOO focused on the numbers, and in the process, forgetting where those numbers come from. Every dealership could have sucess if they choose to look at the customer as an individual, not just a check. Ted and Lance (especially) chose not to treat me with respect, and I walked away. Lenoir City did, and I stayed. Like the old saying goes, you can lead a customer to a car, but you can't lead a car to a customer. Or something like that. Needless to say, I got the car I wanted, and Margo and all those inhabiting Lenoir City Ford have made a customer for life. As for all those other dealers, they can smell my burnt dust and eat my rubber. Or something like that. More

I went to Lenoir City Ford on the recommendation of a friend who has know John Scott for many years. Typically, in my experience buying a car has been a real pain. After working online with jack, I came by and test drove a fusion. The dealership didn't have the exact car I wanted.. We began looking for a new car 3-4 months ago. Most of the inquiries were to Ford and Kia. John Scott answered e-mails, called us from time to time . John was away at the time, but we talked to him concerning our interest. After purchasing the car ,we had a stalling problem that required attention from the shop.
