I bought a Lenz Lemon In mid June I bought a used 2015 GMC diesel. The truck looked great and had 55000 miles. The dealer window sticker showed that all of the vehicle syst In mid June I bought a used 2015 GMC diesel. The truck looked great and had 55000 miles. The dealer window sticker showed that all of the vehicle system were checked and worked correctly. They were kind enough to deliver the truck as I had been ill. I went out the next day and was unable to start the truck. Called Lenz, they suspected a bad battery and did pick up the truck and replaced the battery. The next day the truck would not start again. They told me the service man lives near my home and would stop on his way to work at 7:30 AM if that was OK. The next day no service man. Called and he did get out at 12:30 PM. They took truck and was under GM warranty. Truck returned and I drive it for first time for 13 miles. Fails to start at first. also see low coolant and problem with the DEF sensor. I drive the truck to dealership and they will take to GM. They learn that there is a bad relay (starting problem) and bad DEF sensor, GM says no issue with coolant. They take truck bad to Lenz who sees coolant leaking. Lenz says they will look at it, I tell them I know nothing about truck issues but a google search tells me it is displaying a bad head gasket. They take it to GM. Different dealership and they say yes head gasket. Upon further inspection it is a cracked head and the truck is hydro locked with bent rods. Takes a week to repair but no cost due to GM warranty. Seven weeks from the time of purchase I get it to use and it is repaired by GM. Park the truck and then find oil under it. Drive it and oil is spraying on to exhaust causing smoke. I take it to GM and they now find a bad gasket that will take 12 hours to repair. Need to cancel planned trip with truck due to issue. My feeling is that Lenz never did or did a very poor job on the truck inspection prior to placing on the lot. I am lucky that it is under GM warranty so no cost other than all of the lost time and canceled trips with truck . If I found these issue in 13 miles of driving why did they not discover the issue and correct? If you buy a used vehicle make sure they do the check and maybe have a independent third party check the truck. More

Great Experiance This is the second truck we have purchased from Lenz, and the second truck with Steve. We live about 400 miles from Lenz and bought our First truck from Lenz a couple of years ago, and it went awesome. We had several trucks we wanted to look at and Steve had 3 of them pulled up from, running with the heat on when we pulled in. Never any pressure, pretty much take the plate and if you want something else to drive let anyone know. Once we had decided on a truck we let them know and in no time we were signing papers and on our way. Didn't think it could get any easier, we were wrong. This time we had pretty much decided on a truck before we even got there, it was at the Fond Du Lac location and Steve had contacted Dave the day before and let him know we were on our wat, and again the truck was ready when we got there, took it for a quick spin, sat down signed a couple of papers and out of there in no time. We have spent more time in line at Walmart getting groceries :) Great experience again . No BS tell it like it is, love it. Cant recommend another dealership. Thanks Guys. More
