Bob Reyes was my salesman and he was condescending, rude, and tried to bully me into buying a more expensive car. He tried multiple times to convince me to lease a new car after I had told him multiple times and tried to bully me into buying a more expensive car. He tried multiple times to convince me to lease a new car after I had told him multiple times I did not want to lease or buy a new car (I wanted a used car). He immediately disregarded the car I had chosen as my #1 pick and told me it was sold without ever looking into it or checking the stock. Gabe Velez later stepped in and promised me he could find my #1 pick and that it wasn't sold but was merely on a different lot and they were having trouble locating it because it was late at night. Gabe was nothing but respectful and nice to me, while Bob continued to undermine my opinion and disrespect my budget. Bob was not friendly and even took a 6-minute personal call on his cell phone while completing my paperwork without excusing himself or apologizing for being rude. If Gabe had not made the promise to me that he would find my car at the price I needed, I would have walked out of the dealership and never looked back. Both of my parents have previously purchased vehicles from Lester Glenn and their salesman was Ron Gargullo. If I had known that Ron still worked at the dealership, I would have requested him initially. I would not recommend Bob Reyes as a salesman to ANYONE (especially women) because Bob will be rude to you and try to bully you into buying a car you do not want through overly aggressive "salesman" tactics. The first person to approach me was Brian Showers who was incredibly knowledgeable about the vehicle I was looking at in the lot and because he could answer all my questions and dealt with me in such a professional, courteous,and friendly manner he is really the person who convinced me, after being a bit undecided, that the vehicle I was interested in was indeed the right one for me. He directed me to Ed Santiago who finalized the purchase of my new Genesis and Ed also went above and beyond what he had to to make the purchase of his vehicle a pleasant experience. I highly recommend this dealership. More

On 12/27/2014 my wife and I visited the LesterGlenn dealership in Toms River to purchase a new Elantra. This would be our third purchase from this dealership. Although we live in Monroe Twp, about an h dealership in Toms River to purchase a new Elantra. This would be our third purchase from this dealership. Although we live in Monroe Twp, about an hour away, this is the only dealership we would consider because of its outstanding reputation for sales and service. We dealt with Frank Aquaviva, a Sales Rep with all of the qualities that are expected of any sales person......Knowledge, a true professional with kindness and courtesy. We told him what we wanted and he showed us just that without any sales pressure or hard sell tactics. The whole experience was truly a delightful, pressure free and "happy". I usually change cars every 2-3 years and I hope that Frank will sell me the next one. More

I would like to say that I once went to a dealership where a very skinny young man, with gelled hair and an earring, tried to bamboozle me into paying 23% interest on my loan. Afterwards a large, overweight man came out from the back. I suppose his presence was meant to set me at ease. As he sat down, the smell of fresh cigar smoke filled the air. With his chubby folded hands sporting a diamond pinky ring, he asked in a strong Brooklyn accent, "What's da' missing piece to da' puzzle?" I'll never forget it. This is in stark contrast to my experience at Lester Glen. When I first walked into their dealership, all the sales people were sitting down at their desks. The building was quiet. As I looked over their cars, I wasn't approached by any of them. Finally I went to the desk and asked, are there any salespeople here? Are they all busy? The receptionist asked, "Why no; Would you like to meet one of them?" I said, "Yes actually, I would." She called one of them on the phone. He got out of his seat, greeted me with a smile and shook my hand. That's the day I met Sal Cuomo; a soft spoken, sincere family man who wanted to help me find the perfect vehicle for what my needs were. After driving a couple vehicles, I picked out the Accent for the mileage. He sat me down and explained everything very thoroughly concerning financing. Then he went for a ride in the car with me and explained all the different controls. As I took him back, he said, "If you have any questions or concerns about the vehicle, call me, and I'll help you sort it out. I'm here for you to help you. I don't just sell a vehicle and say goodbye. Anything you need, let me know. Then, he smiled and wished me a great day. That was my first encounter with Lester Glen. In the back of my mind I went back to the memory I had of that other place. "What's the missing piece to the puzzle?" came to mind. The missing piece at Lester Glenn; I wasn't hawked, I wasn't pushed, I was treated with respect and honesty. Now, Sal and Lester Glenn have a long term customer. I'll never shop for a car anywhere else. More
Frank was very nice. He showed us all about the car, even though it was about 15 degrees outside. The car we were interested in was at another dealership, which they promptly had it brought over.
