My experience with the salesman, Tom Hakimi was excellent. My only drawback was with the original sales manager (I've forgotten his name), because he would not be up front in giving us a negotiated price. Other car places did, including the Winter Park dealership. It was too much game playing, creating a lack of trust. Outside of that everything was excellent, including the final negotiation with a different sales manager, the efficiency of Tom in getting us through the final sales and Mitch who got all the papers signed. When my sister and I arrived at Lexus of Melbourne, we were warmly greeted by the staff and we were handed over to Tom Hakimi (as he was the next up in rotation). Tom immediately remembered my sister and even remembered that her husband owned an air conditioning business and that my sister came to Lexus after a bad experience with BMW (BMW asked that she bring her husband back before they would deal with her!). My sister was stunned that Tom remembered all that information from twelve years ago! And we were delighted that we received Tom randomly when we walked in the door as Tom was terrific to work with in 2003! We were interested in a 2013 ES350 and Tom, (after asking my preferences) showed me a gray one with gray interior. I loved the car when I test drove it but told Tom that my husband hates black floor carpets and therefore would not like the car due to that. Tom offered to show us the white one he had available but we were out of time and I said that I would bring my husband back the next day to see the white one. Tom followed up with a call the next morning (which went into voice mail because we were on our way over!) and we arrived at your dealership in the afternoon. Tom had the white car parked out in front anticipating our return! My husband test drove the car but felt the white car with a tan interior was too blah. I suggested the gray one (with Tom's help!) and my husband agreed to at least look at it. The rest is history. He loved the car and we sat down with Tom to see if we could make the sale work. We went back and forth between Tom and the very nice, personable and totally competent sales manager (I apologize, I can't remember his name) and we walked away with our beautiful 2013 ES350. We met with the finance manager and could watch behind him through the glass as our car was being prepped for us! What a nice touch! And when we took possession, we were indoors and there was a sign mounted on a platform behind our car congratulating us on our purchase. Again, what a nice touch! We have bought many cars but NEVER have taken possession of one indoors, free from the elements. The staff, especially Tom and the sales manager, were terrific and we are delighted with our purchase! My husband even insisted that we take a midnight drive last night to listen to his CD's on our "new" car. He is on Cloud 9! Thank you again, Lexus of Melbourne, and we will sing your praises to everyone! More
